Emily Maynard To Be The Bachelorette Again?

Could the third time be the charm for Emily Maynard?

I can hear you! You're saying, "Melissa, you're kidding, right? Is this your idea of a bad joke?" Ha! I wish.. it is someone's idea of a bad joke though. I hope it's a joke, anyway. RadarOnline reports: Emily's season of the Bachelorette was such a ratings success, the producers want her back.

Emily’s ratings were huge and the producers know that she is incredibly popular so they are talking with her about coming back for another try,” a source told Radar. “Even though she has been burned twice, they are hoping that she will be open to the idea because they know it will be ratings gold and they know that she really likes being on TV and actually has fun on the show.”

Emily has been burned twice? Are they delusional? More like, the ice princess has burned two guys. How many fools can they find for the next round, I wonder.

No worries. ABC has big ideas on how to make this season different. Personally, I'd like to see a Bachelor vs. Bachelorette special. (The show is already a joke… why not have some fun with it.) ABC should bring back both Jef Holm and Emily, and then they can race their way to the most romantic final rose ceremony ever. Sadly, ABC's plan isn't nearly as exciting as my own. ABC's idea of changing things up is to film in Los Angeles.

The source added, "But they want to be respectful of Emily’s daughter Ricki so they’ll shoot around her school schedule and vacations. ABC loves Emily, there are tons of Emily fans and the producers think it could be an amazing twist that would really get people watching, even if it is haters tuning in to see what she will do a third time!” I'm not sure what this "amazing twist" is supposed to be – inviting back Emily (grrr) or changing the location (yawn) or both.

What do you think? Does Emily deserve a third season just because she loves being on TV and haters will tune in to snark about it?

Before anything else, Emily needs to return her Neil Lane engagement ring. This is the second ring that Emily has had to return in less than two years. Emily first appeared on Bachelor: Brad Take Two. Emily was Brad Womack's final choice but their engagement didn't last. Then, Emily was cast as the Bachelorette and accepted Jef's marriage proposal. After nearly two months of constant rumors and speculation, Emily and Jef confirmed their split earlier this week.

Reportedly, Emily is the one who ended things with Jef. "Emily just decided that she'd had enough," a source told Us Weekly. "Emily was extremely miserable, at her breaking point. She was like, 'I'm dying, I'm dying here.'"

"Emily is a little embarrassed that this is the second engagement ring that she is returning," a source told RadarOnline. "It definitely isn't something she is proud of." Earlier this month, Courtney Robertson was forced to return her own Neil Lane ring after she and Ben Flajnik split

Where is this Bachelor / Bachelorette engagement ring graveyard?
