The Stoddens are trying to remain relevant by attempting to launch Courtney's music career and another reality TV gig, but say that she's going to have a tough time because of her beauty. Everything from this interview qualified as quote of the day material.
The first gem shared by Krista, “She’s a victim of her own beauty. We need to understand all kinds of discrimination. It’s very sad. Courtney is the new Anna Nicole Smith, without the drugs. Everyone wants to be like Marilyn Monroe, but with Courtney the beauty comes from within — like Pam Anderson and Farrah Fawcett.”

Courtney adds, "Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful. Women can be sexy and beautiful; I know it makes a lot of women mad.”
Mama Stodden is determined to pimp her daughter out to the world and not let her grow up like a normal teenager. “It won't be 15 minutes of fame because it's an evergreen story. Courtney is so intriguing; she’s almost an addiction for people. Her light shines. When she walks into an event, it's incredible, as her mom and manager, to watch the reaction from people. There are so many horrible things we read, but when people meet her in person is so rewarding.” By inner light Krista means blinded by Courtney's shiny metallic stripper wear and lucite heels.
I wonder where creeptastical husband Doug Hutchison fits into Courtney's big plans to become a star. They don't mention "poor Doug" once in the interview. I foresee him getting kicked to the curb when Courtney lands a new reality TV deal. I think Courtney and Krista hoped her marriage to the 52 year old creepster would be sensational enough to get them noticed and ink a reality deal, but when that didn't pan out so well – aside from the stint on Couples Therapy – they're going to dump Doug and try a new angle.
