When life hands you lemons, cue a David Foster movie score and pretend like you're Yolanda Foster. That's my motto, at least! Yolanda has a regal way of shushing the most classless of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and her disdain of Kyle Richards makes me like her even more. She's my Lisa Vanderpump 2.0.
After the ladies' Parisian vacation, Yolanda seemed to let her guard down around her co-stars. She reached out to a clearly struggling Kim Richards, only to have it come back and bite her in the toned and cleansed arse. But Yolanda is so busy juggling her lemons, her laundry, and her magnificent refrigerator that she doesn't have time to let the pettiness get to her. Take that, Splits!

In her Bravo blog from last week, Yolanda writes about what she believed to be a defining moment in her friendship with Kim while vacationing in Paris. However, as we know now, that certainly wasn't the case. Worried about Kim's health and odd behavior, Yolanda shares, " I texted with Kim in the morning and then again later in the afternoon. I knew she was fine, but I was surprised when she wasn't there on time to leave for dinner. Kim was obviously having issues, but when I went into her room it was very clear to me that she had overslept and was maybe dealing with a chemical imbalance or a mixture of the wrong medication. Her room was perfect and there was not any evidence that she had been drinking."
She continues, "Knowing Kim's doctor very well, she had given me permission to talk to him and see if there was any explanation of why she was feeling so tired and nauseous, so I tried to help her figure out why she was not feeling well. Anyway, I tried to be a good friend and support her but all was forgotten once we were back in L.A. Funny how quickly some people can forget sincere acts of kindness…Unfortunately, the love and time I put into Kim on this wonderful trip to Paris was soon forgotten once back in LA as the reality of the story was changed."
Yolanda cites the Queen of Beverly Hills as being a pro at handling the ladies (especially those Richards sisters) with class, revealing, "Lisa and I have known each other for a couple of years and have a mutual respect for one another. She is a very smart woman that knows how to maneuver in this group better than any of us and she has done it successfully with integrity and loyalty to her friends."
This week, Yolanda discusses her health and shares that her behavior on this week's episode prompted her to go to the doctor where she was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. She also pinpoints how the dynamics changed once the ladies returned to Beverly Hills.
Yolanda writes, "Anyway, looking back, I really went out of my way to support and guide Kim throughout our Paris trip. Under normal circumstances, I would never bring this up because I don't believe it's great karma to mention the good deeds you do in life. This situation is only important information for you to know because it's something that is going to come up by season's end. When we left Paris, Kim was not well at all. I accompanied her through the airport, carried her bags while she was crying, struggling and upset with Kyle. Even though I wasn't feeling well either, I wanted to show my support to a woman I thought was becoming and needing a friend."
The ever gracious Yolanda has mastered the skill of talking smack without sounding like she's talking smack. Don't believe me? Of Kim's quick dismissal of their Paris bond, Yolanda explains, "The next time I saw Kim was at Kyle's store opening where she barely greeted me, and chose to walk straight into the dressing room with Kyle to explain their version of our Paris trip. I'm a little naive when it comes to these kinds of matters so it took me some time to realize and understand what had gone down. It's quite interesting to learn how their perspective of our experience is so different then mine. In hindsight I should have just minded my own business and not gotten involved!"
This woman is Ah. Mah. Zing. If you don't agree, I hope she shushes you. Kidding!
