Well isn't this a fun twist? But aren't all the twists tongue in cheek fun when discussing reality star Bethenny Frankel?
If you recall, before she and Jason Hoppy filed for divorce, Bethenny was all about racing out to L.A. to set down roots for her new daytime talk show. It seems that Bethenny has recently had a change of heart, and she wants to film Bethenny in the city that made her a household name in the first place, thanks to Bravo. A woman's allowed to change her mind, right?

Bethenny recently tweeted that she is changing the venue of her newly syndicated talk show from Los Angeles to New York City. She shared with her followers, "I really did think about doing the show in LA but New York really is the best. The vibe is incredible every min every day." Interesting…to say the least.
Could her not so friendly divorce from Jason have been the reason behind her new decision? Goodness knows there was a lot of speculation that Bethenny's desire to relocate her family to the West Coast contributed to the demise fo her marriage. Maybe this is the easiest way to get out of future playdates with Kyle Richards…
As much as I love the opportunity to snark on Bethenny, I have to credit her for making this choice. Whether its a ploy to regain her (seemingly) fleeing fanbase or a legitimate attempt to co-parent daughter Bryn in the same city as Jason (I tend to think this is her reasoning), Bryn will be the one who reaps the rewards of not having to fly cross country for joint custody's sake. I truly think that Bethenny filming her show in NYC will benefit everyone invloved in this messy split…and it's not just because I can't stand the thought of a toddler having ten times the amount of frequent flier miles that I do! 🙂
