We all know that Randy Jackson has "yo yo yo, dawg'ed" his way out of the thirteenth season of American Idol, and rumors are swirling that Nicki Minaj is right on his heels. So who plans to stick around?
Well, Keith Urban wants to judge another round
provided the show isn't canceled after jumping the shark a few years ago. That's the kind of commitment I like to see from my superstars turned reality critics! I wonder when Mariah Carey will weigh in with her two cents…

Speaking to People recently, the coutry crooner from Down Under admits that he loves his job on Idol. He shares, "I mean, I literally enjoy coming to work every day, and that's a rarity."
Keith reveals, "I joined an ensemble like this in the same way I joined a band. I like being in a team and I felt that immediately, with [host Ryan Seacrest] and Randy, particularly."
He also knows it's not all about the singing. Keith realizes that viewers aren't tuning in just to judge the competitors, but to see and critique the dynamic and drama among the reality competition's judges.
He tells the site, "It's funny. I think everybody is judging," adding, "Everyone at home is judging us, judging them, judging everybody." Hey, isn't that (sadly) the way of the world these days?
I hope that Keith gets his wish to come back for another season, although I do have to wonder just how much steam is left in the AI train…
