It's a whirlwind these days for Real Housewives of Orange County's Tamra Barney as she prepares to walk down the aisle with her boy toy Eddie Judge. Set your DVRs folks! The potty-mouthed Bravolebrity is learning quickly the art of promotion as she starts hyping her wedding, but will her skills be able to save her Wines by Wives partnership with Vicki Gunvalson?
Speaking to E! about her recent pre-marriage festivities, Tamra shares, "We had a great time at the bachelorette party, it was nice to kick back with a Cuca Fresca cocktail after working so hard between planning a wedding and being at [my gym] C.U.T. Fitness everyday." Wow, I'm impressed she was able to effortlessly plug the party's sponsor, her new business, and her upcoming televised wedding in one seamless sentence. Genius!

Tamra continues, "Despite being married before I have never had a big wedding, so I am really excited to throw a big wedding. Clearly, I have saved the best for last," adding of the wedding, "There are a few great surprises, and I am excited the viewers are going to be able to witness them and live through this experience with me—they've been through it all with me." Oh yes we have…whether we've wanted to or not. Am I right?
Someone else who has been through everything with Tamra is her constant frienemy Vicki. These women take back stabbing each other to an entirely different level–it's like an art form to both of them!
Luckily, their personal relationship hasn't been getting in the way of their Wines By Wives venture. The ladies' business partner Chris Gravagna tells Wet Paint (Vicki and Tamra were busy, I guess?), “You need to remember, what you’re seeing on the show now actually took place five to six months ago. I’m not going to lie, though, it did get strange for a minute. But with any good partnerships, there are going to be bumps in the road and at the end of the day, yes both are still involved. The three of us — Vicki, Tamra and I — are still partners. There was some stress, but thankfully we were able to get through it.”
When questioned about Vicki's Vodka and Tamra's partnership with the above-mentioned Cuca Fresca, Chris explains, “For me, it’s not a conflict. I’m completely supportive of their other ventures."
Chris reminds us, "The three of us have been friends from way before Wines by Wives. More importantly, they’re both still very committed to Wines by Wives. We have weekly calls and meetings and we’re all doing what we’re supposed to be doing. Their job is to drive exposure to the brand and mine is to run day-to-day logistics. There’s a also a huge team behind the brand helping us execute our goals.”
He tells the site that the brand is expanding beyond the OC, revealing, “We have Kathy Wakile from Real Housewives of New Jersey coming onboard, and a few more exciting names joining us this fall. Things at Wines by Wives are better than ever.” Sure. Whatever…call me when you bring in the big guns. I'm looking at you, Pinot Singer!
