Teresa Giudice Explains That Tempers Flare On RHONJ Because Italians Like It Hot! Says Her Family Is “So Happy” Right Now!

Teresa Giudice and Dr. Ian Smith visit FOX 29's

So Real Housewives of New Jersey keeps teasing us about some great magical place where everyone comes together, sings Kumbaya and is happy, happy, happy! So far we've seen some baby steps starting with Teresa Giudice making amends with her cousin Rosie on this week's episode.

In her Bravo blog, Teresa promises that although things are heated right now, everything simmers down with time. And much more good is to come. But of course, because they're Italians there are a lot of flaring tempers!

"I'm not gonna lie, I'm so happy right now," Teresa begins. "Things are so so good. (Maybe it's because I finally got a taste of my own medicine. Had no idea I needed that so badly. Yum!) Seriously though, we are all in a good place now, and you'll soon see how we got there."

Teresa does clarify that viewers should expect more bad (and more bashing blogs – right Melissa Gorga!) before good! "I'm sure we'll still use our blogs to explain things on each episode and defend ourselves, but that was months ago and this is now. And right now, we're all pretty happy. At least I am."

But passion runs in the Gorga blood, so of course a lot of arguing had to take place before rebuilding could happen. "Everything about Italians is hot, too — and not just on the outside. We’re hot blooded. We are famous for our passion and our tempers, for our love and our loyalty," Teresa explains. "And when it comes down to it, we just like things hot. We like our partners hot; we like our weather hot; and we love our food hot."

And Teresa, herself, also loves it hot. Please spare yourself any unflattering thoughts imaging Juicy

"If you’ve read any of my previous cookbooks, you know red pepper flakes are one of my favorite ingredients because I love to eat hot. If you’ve seen me on The Celebrity Apprentice or The Real Housewives of New Jersey, you know that I find myself in hot situations far more often than I’d like. (Every time I try to get out, they keep pulling me back in!) But both of my parents are from Italy, and I was conceived in the 'old country,' so at least I come by my heat honestly."

And because she likes it hot, Teresa dedicates the rest of her blog dispensing recipes for summer grilling. Is her latest cookbook not selling so hot?
