Real Housewives of New Jersey is right in thick of serious drama. Last week Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga tepidly began to process their issues with the help of the formidable Dr. V (there isn't enough alcohol in the world for me to try and tackle that mess – so props to her!).
However Teresa admitting she needed help shocked Caroline enough into going! It's not often Miss. Everything's Fine admits there's a problem, as we know… "I was very surprised to hear from Teresa," Caroline admits. "She's a strong girl and doesn't usually ask for help. I knew something was up."

Caroline was equally shocked to learn the husbands had gotten into a fist fight. "I think this year, for all of us, the story line is this feud. Everything else is secondary. You don't see a lot going on outside of this feud this season because it was just so consuming to all of us."
contract agreement with Bravo promise to the siblings that she would help them led Caroline to Lake George, but she also genuinely believes they love each other. "The two of them — they have the same mentality that: 'You have to give.' 'No, I don't have to give, you do,'" Caroline explains. They do love each other very much, but you have to remember, this is a few years' worth of estrangement."
"And to some degree, within a couple of years, beyond what is said and done to each other, there is a trickle-down effect on so many other people," Caroline adds. One of those people is Melissa Gorga, naturally. Caroline acknowledges that Melissa "hurt" her feelings and surprised her when she complained about Caroline meeting with Poison solo.
"Over the past couple of years, it's always been made very clear that Melissa said she wants to be kept out of it," Caroline reminds us. "When she said that, I was kind of taken aback. I'm not going to lie. It definitely hurt my feelings. My intentions were pure."
And sadly for Melissa the tide is also turning with fans! Villain Edit! Melissa admits to fan backlash this season and of course blames the bitter family drama. "I learned that they'll love you one day and hate you the next and love you the next day," she continued. "So it's just, it goes back and forth with the fans."
"They see what they see and they make a judgment on that episode," Melissa explains to The Wrap. "Then on the next episode, they love you and they don't like the other person. It flip-flops a lot."
"People only remember what they're seeing right now, they don’t remember what happened before," she acknowledges. "They don’t remember the events that lead up to seeing me a little bit hard and a little bit fed up. I think they’re forgetting why, they’re forgetting what I’ve been through and what has lead up to this."
Melissa credits the salacious rumors about her that seem to circulate as part of the reason for the fans' opinions. "Every season there’s a new rumor about me," Melissa says. "It’s been open game on me for the whole entire season and it hasn’t stopped and if I saw it stop I wouldn’t be so tough."
"I’m sorry if anyone doesn’t like that, but I have to stand by the fact that I don’t want to see my husband hurt anymore and I need to protect him and my family first," she insists.
Speaking of rumors, Melissa's ex-boyfriend Bryan is not going away quietly. He's been behind some cheating allegations that emerged prior to the season airing and have been the subject of the show.
In a recent tweet, Bryan calls Melissa out on being fake!
Ouch! Glad that man isn't my ex… She must have really done a doozy on him.
Well tonight trouble at the retreat continues as Dr. V works her magic and the siblings start the healing process. I'm sure someone will get drunk and embarrassing too while we're at it cause that's the RHONJ way.
Reality Tea will be live-tweeting the Miracle of Lake George (8th wonder of the reality TV world), so make sure to join us!
