Is There A New Cast Member On Mob Wives? Plus, Ramona Rizzo’s Fiance Sentenced To Fifteen Years In Prison!

Ramona Rizzo celebrates her bachelorette party

If you've been watching Mob Wives since its inception, you know it wasn't always Big Ang and spa days and break-downs. The ladies used to be scary violent until they realized what an atrocious example they were setting for their kids.  Now, even with underlying tension, they're relatively tame.   Even the sharp-tongued threats of Ramona Rizzo have been soothed with the sweet feelings of true love, even if that love has to be expressed via telephone while staring into her lover's eyes through a sheet of plate glass.  Le sigh…and more on that in a bit!

I guess VH1 was getting bored with the lack of drama and feuding because the network is mixing it up with new cast member Alicia DiMichele Garafola…and she and Karen Gravano are not going to see eye-to-eye.  Why, you ask?  Oh just a little thing called "Karen's dad admitted he put a hit out on Alicia's father-in-law at the command of John Gotti."  No biggie.

A source tells Hollywood Life, “Alicia has been filming and there’s a ton of drama since she is cast mates with a family enemy. It’s crazy but she’s loving it.”

The insider reveals that Alicia's sisters-in-law have unsuccessfully taken Karen to court in an attempt to garnish some money from her book deal, and they tried to keep her off the show when it first began.   The source shares that  Alicia is extremely supportive of her husband's family, and that doesn't sit very well with Karen.

At least this news may help Karen take her mind off of Ramona's very long engagement to Joseph Sclafani.  According to Wet Paint, it may be a while before Ramona and fiance Joe Boy (Really?  That's a nickname?) are living together as husband and wife because he was recently sentenced to fifteen years for drug trafficking.

As you recall, Ramona's friends were wary of her engagement for this very reason.   You know Karen is sporting some major "I told you so" face right about now.

Joe Boy, who is rumored to be a member of the Gambino crime family (I take back what I said about the nickname–it's great!), pleaded guilty to distributing cocaine.  When he popped the question to Ramona, the pair knew there was a possibility of him going away for quite some time.

Joe shared his regrets for his actions with the judge, saying, "I showed no consideration to my family.  It was just selfish. My fiance entrusted her children to me. I disappointed my son."

I guess that's what conjugal visits are for, right?
