Melissa Gorga's new modus operandi seems to be a different day, a different recollection, a different excuse! Recently her book Love Italian Style came under fire for promoting some not so fabulous advice.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey at first defended her book saying that what works for her marriage may not work for everyone. But now, of course, she's changing her autotune.
Melissa sat down with Vh1's The Buzz to discuss the show and her latest attempt to get attention book;claiming she wanted "controversy" to get people talking about the book. Likening herself to Miley Cyrus, Melissa brags, "She wanted controversy, her plan worked!" So, is that stuff what Melissa actually does in her marriage or she just wanted to sell books? "The book is about putting your marriage first. I think it's about loyalty, it's about honesty. It's about respect," says Miss I Don't Trust My Husband To Hire His Own Secretary And I Put NannyCams In His Office. Melissa claims viewers of the show can tell instantly that she and Poison Gorga "back each other up."
"The 'controversial' stuff, the pull her hair – it's about trying new things in the bedroom, it's keep it spicy, keep it aggressive! It's not about take it when she doesn't want it," Melissa reiterates. Melissa also claims she wouldn't change anything in the book.
Onto the show proving that things are good with Teresa Giudice, Melissa was actually wearing the "peace panties" Teresa gave her for her birthday. "It was a little strange," Melissa laughs of the gift. "But it was a nice gesture."
