With the errrrmmm… success of Kyle By AleneToo, Kyle Richards is creating kaftans for the masses.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star recently announced that she'll be debuting her first clothing line on HSN. The Bravo Home Shopping Network kontinues.
On February 25, Kyle's first line, an eight-piece collection called "Kyle by Kyle Richards", will launch. Describing it as "relaxed glamour" aka mumus, Kyle says that it will channel the "chic, California cool vibe" that echos her own closet. <insert hysterical laughter here>
Kyle is especially excited to debut her classic one-sleeved jumpsuit! "The fabric literally feels like pajamas," Kyle gushes to Entertainment Weekly. "I always wear it at home when I’m entertaining because I don’t want to be in a tight, uncomfortable dress. I can also wear it on a red carpet. In fact, I just wore it in blue on The Arsenio Hall Show. I also love the jacket with embellished sleeves. I get so many compliments on it. I have friends already asking me for that one."

Kyle says most of her inspiration for the line came from her youth and from always being surrounded by women. And she also wants to make chic mommy clothing. "I’ve always loved clothing," she says. "I come from a family of all women, so playing dress-up was a big part of our household," Kyle explains. "I’m glamorous, but I like being comfortable. By day, I’m running around being casual. My mom was just like that too. A lot of this is inspired by her."
Kyle isn't stopping at clothing either. "The next step probably would be handbags or sunglasses. This [could] just be the beginning," she teases.
Well in other Kyle news she's reflecting on this week's episode and is happy that it featured the ladies getting along and having fun. "Self defense class was hilarious. See? We really do have fun sometimes! Seeing Yolanda [Foster] looking pretty with a big smile on her face while she choked poor Lars made me laugh out loud," Kyle writes in her Bravo blog.
"Kim and I use to REALLY fight when we were kids! Can you imagine? Haha. Kim is small but SO strong!!! We are supposed to be learning to DEFEND ourselves, and Kim starts beating the daylights out of me," Kyle reflects. "I fought back the only way I know (since I hadn't learned YET) — and that's kicking and screaming just like when we were little. Plus, I was laughing so hard I was weak!"
Although not everyone had a blast, "Brandi [Glanville] did break her hand, and we all heard the crack. Ouch!"
"Later Lisa [Vanderpump], Brandi and I went to dinner," Kyle says. "On the car ride I handed Brandi a card that said 'I'm not a bitch, I just play one in your life.' I thought it was a funny card and appropriate for our us." I agree!
"Brandi and I have never gotten the chance to get to know each other. It has always been two steps forward, one step back. I always knew that she thought I was someone that I am not. And vice versa," Kyle explains. "I gave her the card because she had just lost Chica and some other things were going on in her life that I heard about and I felt for her."
Well, that was nice. Are we sure Kyle didn't give her the card to taunt Lisa? Nah… she would ne'er do that!
