In some truly tragic news we report that Shayne Lamas suffered a miscarriage.
The former Bachelor star, who appeared on Couples Therapy with her husband Nik Richie, was 16 weeks pregnant with the couple's second child.
On Sunday at 7:35 pm the paramedics were called to Shayne's Orange County home after she collapsed. She was rushed to the hospital, with Nik by her side, where doctors discovered internal bleeding around her uterus and determined emergency surgery was needed to discover the cause of the bleeding.
Unfortunately during the surgery Shayne's unborn baby was lost in the process, however doctors are "optimistic about her recovery" says TMZ.

"We are so grateful that my daughter, Shayne Lamas-Richie, is conscious and stable. She is not in a coma, however she did miscarry the child she was carrying," Lorenzo Lamas told People. "We are so very grateful to the hospital personnel and the doctors who saved her life last night."
Lorenzo added, "Shayne is aware of her condition and that her family and her husband are here with her and love her so much."
Shayne will remain in the hospital until further notice. Nik announced that he would be taking time off from The Dirty until his wife was better and to mourn the loss of their unborn child. "I'm going to take some personal days off from the blogging world. Unfortunate things happen to good people," Nik wrote. "I'm not the best person in the world, but I love my wife and my family. Shayne is my good person. She is my support and my smile. I found you and I never want to let you go. We will overcome."
Shayne and Nik have a 2-year-old daughter Press.
