Word on the street is, Married to Medicine has been renewed for season three!
According to The Wrap, casting decisions will be made and production will begin within the next few weeks. “Storylines will determine who will be series regulars and who will be demoted,” reported the news site.

Season two of Married to Medicine featured series originals Dr. Jackie Walters, Quad Webb-Lunceford, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Mariah Huq, and Toya Bush-Harris and newcomers Lisa Nicole Cloud and Dr. Heavenly Kimes. Again, no word yet on who will return or if there will be any new additions for season three.
When asked about the new season, Mariah tweeted, “Not sure. Honestly I’m the red headed step child… LOL I think they will start filming soon though.” Jackie and Heavenly retweeted The Wrap‘s announcement. But that’s the extent of the cast’s twitter chatter about the new season.
I expect Quad, Simone, Jackie, and Heavenly to be asked to return. I honestly don’t have much of an opinion about Toya or Lisa, but many fans of the show complained about their lack of a storyline and a personality last season. Taking her final sour grapes blog and the fact that the cast hates her into consideration, I would not be surprised if Mariah sits out.
