Joe Giudice Accepts Plea Deal In Driver’s License Fraud Case

Joe Guidice entering Superior Court In Paterson New Jersey

Joe Giudice had a change of heart when court reconvened this afternoon and he has accepted the plea deal in his fraudulent driver’s license case.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star will lose his license for up to two years but he won’t be adding any additional time on to his already 41-month long sentence from Federal court.

This morning in court Joe was undecided about accepting the deal mainly because of the license suspension stipulation.  He will be the one driving around their four girls next year when Teresa Giudice goes to prison for nearly 15 months.  By not accepting the deal Joe would’ve went to trial and faced the possibility of 10 years in prison for this case (adding over 6 more years onto the Federal sentence).  He decided that figuring out a way to drive himself and the kids around for a year would be easier than potentially sitting in prison for several additional years!  At least he came to his senses on this one.  While it’ll be inconvenient (until he goes to prison in 2016 anyway), at least he can finally put this to rest.  Almost.  Joe will be back in court on March 20th to hammer out exactly how long the suspension will be.  Right now it’s a minimum of six months.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK THE PLEA DEAL WAS FAIR? WOULD JUICY HAVE LOST A TRIAL?
