Real Housewives of New Jersey Fans Hoping To Watch Teresa Giudice Surrender To Prison Tomorrow Are Out of Luck

Teresa and Joe Guidice plead guilty in Federal Court in NJ

Teresa Giudice is getting ready to surrender to prison by tomorrow, January 5th.  Fans (and non fans) and press hoping to get a glimpse of the Real Housewives of New Jersey star as she arrives at the prison to start her 15 month sentence are going to be left out in the cold.

According to NorthJersey.com, cars are being turned away already today.   They report that federal employees are blocking access to the road leading up to the Danbury prison in Danbury, Connecticut, making it nearly impossible for anyone to capture Teresa’s arrival.   “On Sunday afternoon, a white unmarked car with federal plates guarded Pembroke Road, which leads from Route 37 to the prison, sending unauthorized vehicles back out to the main road. Only a small sliver of the prison complex  — mostly an area with high-intensity lights  — is visible from Route 37.”

Teresa was already assigned a prison inmate number (65703-050) but once she does surrender, it’ll likely take several days for her to show up in the Federal Bureau of Prisons system.

Unless Teresa is letting Bravo cameras capture her last moments before surrender, I wonder if Teresa will turn herself in overnight to avoid the media frenzy and to make it easiest on her girls tomorrow morning.

I also wonder if Joe will have them stay home from school so they can mourn the situation or if he’ll send them, trying to keep things as routine as possible.  At least Teresa will be able to email and talk to her girls via phone.  And Danbury is only 90 miles from home, so it’ll be much easier for them to visit her, too.  I get that Teresa needs to do the time for her crime, but my worry is for the girls.

Speaking of the girls, Gia Tweeted this pic with her mom. which we shared in our NYE photo roundup, but wanted to share again.   Gia shared, “Happy New Years with my best friend.”
