Manzo’d With Children’s Caroline Manzo Blogs On Her Weight Loss Journey

Caroline Manzo

If you follow Caroline Manzo on social media, you know she’s been cooking up a storm lately and her dishes always look amazing. I’d happily take a seat at the Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s table and not just because I have an odd crush on Albie Manzo (please don’t judge me, it’s better than some of my other reality star crushes…Thomas Ravenel and Medeecees Harris, anyone?).

All of her food porn on Instagram has me wondering if she’s planning to follow in the steps of a few of her RHONJ cast mates and create her own cookbook. I’m guessing its theme would be how to eat delicious food and still maintain a healthy lifestyle. One can’t help but notice how wonderful Caroline looks these days, and she’s sharing her weight loss journey with fans.

Blogging for Woman’s Day, Caroline has been chronicling her weight loss challenge. She begins, “Hey, guys! We’re at the home stretch of our challenge and I’m feeling pretty good about it. I think I may break the 20-pound loss mark, and for me standing at a full 5’1”, that’s a lot of weight! My husband and I took a quick trip to Florida last week and for the first time I didn’t feel like I was challenged in my meal choices and food intake while eating out. Eating healthy has officially become a way of life, and I like it.”

Sharing some tips that have helped her along the way, Caroline writes, “I’ve developed the habit of eating something every three hours, starting with breakfast (a meal I never ate) within an hour-and-a-half of waking each morning,” adding, “I also stopped drinking coffee altogether; it has been replaced with hot water and fresh lemon each morning as well as right before bed. If I get the urge for something different I opt for green tea. As for cold drinks, it’s pretty much the same: water or iced green tea.”

The matriarch of Manzo’d with Children is adamant that she isn’t dieting. Instead, Caroline is creating new habits that will help her throughout life. I must admit, that’s the only way to make a major change. She concludes, “It’s nice to feel my energy level grow, and notice the changes in my body. It’s been a slow process, but steady, which is key. I’ve got a few more pounds to lose, but I feel like I finally have created a routine that allows me to do so without feeling the pressure of ‘dieting.’ I prefer to say that I’ve changed my lifestyle. I’m not dieting; I’m doing what’s best for my body, and that can never be a bad thing.” Not at all…now when would you like me to come to dinner? Make sure Albie’s there! 😉
