Tamra Barney Judge and her ex-husband Simon Barney have been in an acrimonious custody battle, which they have finally resolved.
Simon sued Tamra for full custody of their three children, Sidney, Spencer, and Sophia and in particular claimed eldest daughter Sidney was embarrassed by her Real Housewives Of Orange County star mother. Per the latest court ruling it was determined that Simon will have full-custody of Sidney, but Tamra will continue to share custody of Spencer and Sophia.

“Simon Barney shall have sole physical custody of Sidney Nicole Barney,” court documents decree. “Tamra Barney Judge shall have visitation with Sidney Nicole Barney every other weekend, and one day midweek from 4:00 to 7:00 pm every week, and any other additional times at Sidney’s discretion,” reports Radar Online.
Previously Simon accused Tamra of child neglect and abuse, alleging she put fame before motherhood. However, a judge dismissed those charges and denied Simon had evidence to substantiate his claims. Following another hearing, Tamra and Simon’s girlfriend got into a heated argument outside the courthouse. Now Tamra says she and Simon have made amends and reached a resolution for the sake of their children.
Tamra also contends that she is at peace with the decision regarding Sidney’s custody and she feels court was a success. “There was no loss in court for me, the judge threw out the original case,” Tamra shared. “Simon and I came to terms outside of court. We both want what’s best for our daughter, her happiness is what matters most.”

“Sidney’s wish was to have her main residence at her dad’s. She is 16 and can chose where she wants to live,” Tamra explained to All Things Real Housewives. “We are all in a good place and continue to work on family. Custody of our other kids still remain the same 50/50.”
Countering allegations, that Tamra caused Sidney “extreme anxiety” by telling her daughter she was “no longer welcome” in her home as a result of Sidney’s loyalty to Simon, Tamra says the opposite is true.
“I have never told my daughter that she was not welcomed in my house due to her relationship with her father, flat out lie!” insists Tamra. “I encourage my kids to love both their parents.”
