Kylie Jenner is the youngest member of the Keeping Up With The Kardashian klan and has lived most of her life in both the spotlight and in the shadow of her elder siblings’ drama. But now Kylie finally has some drama of her own – oh goody – which means the Pimpmomager is finally putting her on magazine covers and paying attention.
Posing for Fault Magazine, Kylie opened her newly plumped lips to discuss fame, relationships, criticism, and playing the part of a Kardashian for the fans.
“Having a reality TV show, everyone feels like they know you, but that’s only 10% of my life,” insists the 17-year-old Kylie. “There’s a whole other side of me that people don’t see.”

Despite public perception, Kyle denies being materialistic or spoiled because she has a “spiritual side” no one ever sees! “I’m not materialistic, I love clothes and all that stuff, but I don’t need it to live. I feel like, not that I’ve had everything, but once you feel you’ve had everything at a young age, you can either go down a path of being spoiled and self-centered, or you see it isn’t everything.”
“I feel like, growing up, I haven’t had a lot of room for error – I don’t have room to make mistakes. You need to make mistakes to grow and learn, but I’m just a little different because the whole world is watching me, every single thing I do,” says Kylie.
Kylie calls the “world” created by her family’s fame “sad” and admits it has caused her isolation. “I just feel like the girl who is an easy target to talk about. Being in my family, under scrutiny all the time… it affects the other people around me.”
“There have been so many people that come into my family’s life that can’t handle it. And we handle a lot. The more people love you, the more there’s going to be people who hate you,” Kylie reflects. However, hey strive to be “positive” and remember they’re “in it together” Sadly, it’s a monster of their own mother and sister’s making… The beast of two backs, so to speak!
“I never feel pressure to be a good role model,” Kylie explains. Clearly. “I try to be the best I can be, but it’s hard sometimes. I just like to live each day and just be me and be real. I definitely always feel pressure to act a certain way, but I try my best not to let it affect me – although there are times where I’m not totally myself because of that.”
“People are going to judge you no matter what you do. So now I feel like I haven’t been open as much as I used to be,” Kylie says on learning from her mistakes. “I closed down a little. I love to connect with people, but it became just a bigger door for people to judge me. On Instagram I’m like a different person almost, I just show people what I want people see.” Fake?
As for that personal life she keeps private, Kylie insists she’s not dating anyone – no matter what her brother-in-law says! “I don’t think I need a significant other to be happy because I always like to find that for myself, but I think that it makes me a lot happier when I’m sharing my life with somebody”
Moving on, Kendall Jenner has certainly gone a different direction from the rest of the family. The high-fashion model may have re-upped the latest KUWTK kontract, but according to sources she is over being a Kardashian and having her family’s image weigh her down.
Kendall reportedly regrets agreeing to participate in another season of the reality show and she’s also over dealing with everyone else’s drama. The 19-year-old plans to “distance herself” to be taken more seriously.
With Kendall landing “more and more prestigious modeling gigs” she no longer needs the family’s money or notoriety. “She’s making a fortune and she doesn’t need them anymore,” says a family insider. “She doesn’t want to be dragged down by the tacky KUWTK biz anymore.”
Kendall is planning a move to London after already professionally dropping the last-name Jenner. “She’s definitely planning a secret life away from the family,” a source reveals, adding that Kris Jenner is furious over Kendall’s betrayal after all the support they’ve given her.
The source tells OK! Kendall is prepared to battle with Kris over breaking from the KUWTK mold to do her own thing. “She’ll have to go through some major hell with her mom trying to exit the family business, but she’s determined to break out on her own.”
As part of her new life, Kendall wants out of the clothing line she shares with her sister Kylie! Apparently with her newfound fashion cred, Kendall wants to star her own fashion line – SOLO – and she’s also inserted in pursuing acting and writing her own fashion blog, and she doesn’t want her little sister tagging along!
Well, sounds normal to me that teenagers want their own lives. It also sounds like Kendall breaking free is a KUWTK storyline…
