Married To Medicine Season 3 Premiere Date And Trailer; Mariah Huq Is Out As Regular Cast Member

Married to Medicine Season 3

Mark your calendars! Married to Medicine season 3 premieres June 7!

The season three cast will include Lisa Nicole Cloud, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Quad Webb-Lunceford, Dr. Jackie Walters, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, and Toya Bush-Harris. “Jackie’s passion for health leads her to start a fitness program but heartbreak hits home when she must deal with a family member’s illness,” shares Bravo. “Simone’s practice is booming, but her personal life is about to implode when she dives into her past and figures out the root of her anger issues. Heavenly may bite off more than she can chew as an entrepreneur, relationship expert, dentist, and mother, but faces a daunting dilemma when her husband pressures her to spend more time at home. Toya is on a mission to prove that she is not just a doctor’s wife and helps Eugene take his medical concierge business to the next level. When Quad and Lisa run background checks on each other, the results reveal shocking transgressions that leave the two at odds.”

Late last week, Bravo dropped the Married to Medicine season three info, cast photo, and trailer, leaving fans confused about Mariah: She’s gone? But, wait, is that her on the trailer? What is going on?!? Personally I was overjoyed to see her gone and couldn’t care less why. I mean, I just assumed it’s because she is impossible to work with, which Andy Cohen alluded to on Twitter. “I love her too,” he replied to a fan. “But she didn’t want to play anymore!”

Mariah explained her absence on Facebook. “Many of you have lots of questions, about me and my bold and beautiful Blackadeshi family not being apart of the primary cast of the show this season as well as me being cut from the promo and show intro so we thought you deserve to hear the truth directly from us,” she shared. “First and foremost the production’s decision to ‘diminish’ my on-camera role was extremely disheartening and straight up disrespectful considering I created, produced, and truly help carry this show. I wasn’t given any ‘vanity’ titles that’s usually given to big name entities whose name alone add validity to the show. Vanity is for show, our efforts are very real.”

“We put years into building, we spent our own money at inception, conceived and created, did all casting, we even had the show picked up on other networks with other production companies. We did the labor to build this machine and simply partnered with another production company to help us develop and grow. We chose to work with the production company because we trusted their stated intentions of developing our vision,” said Mariah. “We did not sell or give them this show. We weren’t refusing to film, being difficult, or unavailable for filming, even through my medical condition and pregnancy complications and our loss we were still available for filming. Although heartbroken, I was still open to sharing my story, because I know sooo many women can relate.”

Quad Explains Why She Ended Her Friendship With Mariah

Mariah continued, “Regardless of how horrible my producing counterparts paint me in front of the camera, my efforts and ownership remain the same. It’s become clear that production is just attempting to push me out because our baby is growing into a franchise and being both a minority franchise owner and star player is simply too much for a little ambitious girl from Chattanooga Tennessee. #SideEye”

“I am very appreciative to Bravo TV. They have believed in me since day one and always made efforts to make me apart of the Bravo family. They have been supportive and have nothing to do with this mess,” explained Mariah. “It’s really shameful that a company we partnered with and trusted with OUR show is going in this direction. I’m not going to continue to remain silent and support unethical unjustified antics. As the Creator and Executive Producer I’m supposed to be involved in decisions pertaining to this production. I’m willing to share it and work hard on it but I’m not willing to give it away, relinquish my ownership or my on-camera role. None of those things are in the best interest of our Show.”

What I don’t understand is, how can the “Creator and Executive Producer” be pushed out of her own show? Well, I, for one, won’t miss Mariah. I’m looking forward to season three. Check out the cast photos and trailer below.
