Surprise! Two new Real Housewives cities are coming to Bravo in 2016!!
Last week, Andy Cohen teased that a new city would come “sooner than” we think, but the sneaky little devil failed to mention that we will be treated to TWO new cities, Potomac and Dallas. The Real Housewives of Potomac and The Real Housewives of Dallas are coming to Bravo next year.
“Real Housewives of Potomac is the show you never saw coming, and it is going to take everyone by surprise!,” said Andy. “As for Real Housewives of Dallas, it is a natural extension of the franchise with a Southern twist that ‘y’all’ will enjoy.” A shout out to our readers who guessed “Dallas” in our Poll Party!

Per Bravo’s Press Release:
“The Real Housewives has become a global phenomenon that drives cultural conversation while consistently breaking ratings records,” said Shari Levine, Executive Vice President, Current Production, Bravo Media. “We’re happy to extend the franchise with Potomac and Dallas giving Bravo fans more of what they desire: stories of dynamic women who make us laugh, cry, cheer, and experience unforgettable moments we can’t stop talking about.”
Just up the river from our nation’s capital lies a hidden gem — Potomac, Maryland. Its rolling hills, gated mansions, sophisticated prep schools, and exclusive country clubs all serve to keep the area invitation-only. Sprinkled throughout this community are a handful of old-line, wealthy African-American families who have historically broken racial barriers to provide the best life possible for their children.
Real Housewives of Potomac follows the upscale lives of six intriguing, well-to-do women: Gizelle Bryant, Katie Rost, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby, all of whom have fought for their places in this society by way of legacy or marriage. In a town where entry is granted only through class, pedigree, and lineage, how far will these ladies go to secure their spot at the top of this prestigious circle?
Real Housewives of Dallas follows a group of sophisticated southern socialites as they claw their way to the top of the city’s social scene. The series gives an exclusive look into their glamorous galas, scintillating scandals, and enormous egos, to prove exactly why everything is bigger in Texas.
Stay tuned for the “meet the cast” post for the Real Housewives of Potomac, which premieres Sunday, January 17 at 9/8c. There’s not as much information available for the Real Housewives of Dallas, as it won’t debut until later next year, but Dallas-based blog Oh So Cynthia reported that Bravo is “ecstatic over the footage” from the Dallas ladies.
