Kim Richards is speaking to Kyle Richards again, but that doesn’t mean it’s smooth sailing. Kyle shares that their relationship will “never be easy.” Also not easy – being on film constantly! Lisa Vanderpump admits it’s a challenge to juggle it all, but she is well-aware she should get while the going is good!
Kyle told Andy Cohen while a guest on his Sirius FM show that Kim is “good right now,” but “We have a very difficult relationship and we will probably always be a work in progress.”

“She shows up this season,” says Kyle, hesitantly. Which leads me to believe Kim’s appearance on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills causes some friction or tension. Of course. “We’ll be OK, and then the show reruns and it brings things up… ” explains Kyle of their complicated dynamic. “You wanna pretend that didn’t happen; you wanna forget about it. And then you’re like, ‘God that was really awful!'”
Moving on Lisa, proprietress of Vanderpump Rules and HBIC on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills is basically ‘on camera’ 24/7 – so how does she manage?
Lisa tells Australia’s News AU that in between juggling her restaurants, television shows, charitable endeavors, merchandise lines, and promoting it all she’s had a total of 5 days off this year. “Well there’s no life outside of that I’m actually far too busy. That’s been my complaint this year.”
Lisa jokes that she’s “documented doing everything – even if I sleep.”
Despite the demands, Lisa wouldn’t sacrifice anything. “I know you should make hay while the sun shines if you’re given opportunities in life.” She certainly has “no regrets” about adding charitable causes for the LGBT community and animal rights to her heaping plate.
So how did Lisa end up with TWO reality shows? It was Andy’s idea to create a spinoff around SUR, because of the cast’s dynamic!
“Of course some of their personal lives and shenanigans and antics I don’t want to be privy to,” acknowledges Lisa. “I’m a producer on the show and many times I’ve said, ‘Oh no, we can’t show that.’ But then I think, ‘Well hang on a minute, are we making a show about what I want them to say? Or what they actually say?”
“There are always dynamics that are dramatic,” admits Lisa. “I didn’t relish some of it, that’s for sure.”

With Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills premiering tonight, Lisa recalls a time she almost left the show! “It’s very difficult and without the audience support it would have been even more so,” she says of season 4. “I’ve done 200 episodes of reality television and I don’t think anybody can recall a time when I’ve ever attacked.”
“I don’t want to be that person,” asserts Lisa. “If I ever start acting like that, that’s the day I should leave reality TV.”
