NeNe Leakes Torn Over Who To Blame For Porsha Williams And Cynthia Bailey’s Fight; Porsha Has Changed For The Worse

NeNe Leakes on Watch What Happens Live

NeNe Leakes took some time out of her demanding Broadway schedule to sit down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live tonight. As expected, she shares her thoughts on all the current drama on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, including the fight between Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey.

About Porsha and Cynthia’s fight, NeNe says, “Lord, have mercy. It was a lot. It was disappointing, and it was a lot.”

NeNe is torn over who is at fault. “Honestly, I really do not know whose fault it is,” she says. “I have to say that in the beginning Cynthia kinda started it a little with the whole… I don’t think Porsha said the ‘b’ word in an offensive way, but I think Porsha took it to another level. I feel like they both have a lot of blame.”

NeNe shares her take on RHOA‘s current storylines:

Cynthia and Peter – “I always have sympathy for anyone that’s having marital problems, because I’ve had my own and I feel really bad. I have sympathy for them.”

Porsha as Duke‘s sugar mama – “I thought that was really stupid. I called Porsha and said don’t ever do that again. That scene, I just could not take it. That is just wrong, child. No.”

Chateau Sheree – “I can’t believe how much it has progressed. I saw the back of it, I thought it was beautiful. It is beautiful.”

Moore Manor – “It’s not even there yet.”

Sheree and Marlo friends now – “Who?”

Kim Fields – “I like Kim. I made a connection with Kim. When I met her, I thought that she’s very different than the girls that are normally around the group. I can’t say she totally fits in with these girls, but I like Kim.”

Kandi and Phaedra – “I just think Kandi and Phaedra are in a bad place right now and it’s gonna take some time. Like it did with me and Cynthia, it’s gonna really take some time. They’re just not in a place where they’re gonna be buddies right now.”

Who does NeNe miss most from RHOA? “Not anyone, really.”

A caller wants to know the current status of NeNe and Cynthia‘s friendship.  “I think Cynthia and I are in a really good place right now,” claims NeNe.

When asked about Cynthia‘s support at the reunion, NeNe says, “Cynthia and I were very close, so yes, it meant a lot to me. I know Cynthia felt for me. We were always very close. When we were having our issues, I was always very surprised at where it had gone. I am happy that we have made peace and we’re in a good place.”

NeNe‘s feelings about Sheree Whitfield being on RHOA again? “I’m okay with Sheree being back on the show. Before this, I hadn’t seen Sheree in almost four years, if not four years. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Sheree.” NeNe teases that her exchange with Sheree in Jamaica is “really interesting.”

Andy begs for dirt on NeNe‘s appearance on The View.

“I felt like they were not kind to me,” shares NeNe. “Honestly, they weren’t kind, it’s not even I felt like anything, I know. It was more than Joy. Now, Joy definitely was throwing a lot of shade, but there was someone else on the panel that threw shade as well, as far as looking me me up and down. As for what the cameras showed, I don’t know. It didn’t show everything, but I can tell you there were a couple of people on that panel who were very shady.”

Andy asks, “Raven-Symoné?” NeNe says, “probably,” adding that she was “real nasty” towards her. NeNe continues, “They just weren’t kind. They did not have nice manners. I know all of them are tired – their hairstyles are tired, their makeup is tired, you know, whatever.”

A caller asks NeNe if she watched Kim Zolciak on Dancing with the Stars. “I watched Kim on Dancing with the Stars because one of my best friends were on there, which is Tamar Braxton,” she says. “I also went to the show, so I saw them both dance live. I thought they were great.” NeNe is being generous. Only one of them was a great dancer.

NeNe‘s thoughts on Kenya calling herself the new Queen of Atlanta? <laughs>

Andy asks NeNe if she thinks Porsha has changed. “She has changed a lot. A lot. She has done a 360. I think me and Cynthia were the first ones who met with her and did a scene with her. She is a totally different person in every way,” says NeNe. “Some things are worse. I have to think about what’s better… there are some things that are not good. There’s just a lot of changes Porsha has made that she’s got to bring back. I tell her she has gotta make changes. She’s gonna make them.” Um, not this week.

NeNe‘s opinion on Kenya and Cynthia calling each other best friend? “I would like to talk about that but it actually comes up on the show later in the season – when I enter – so just wait for that.”

When asked what she misses the least/most from RHOA, NeNe says the drama the least and the trips the most.

POLL – Whose fault was the fight?

Cynthia “won” with 91%.

In response to the poll result, NeNe says, “Listen, the problem happened when Porsha said the ‘b’ word, but I think Cynthia took it out of context. I do not think she said it in a harsh way. Everything just escalated from there.”
