As sad as I was to see Maddie Ziegler leave Dance Moms, I totally understood why she had to do it. She can’t be on reality TV forever and she is in high demand for her dancing talents. The show has done all it could for her and vice versa. I just didn’t get why her sister Mackenzie Ziegler had to leave with her.
Mackenzie is such a talented dancer and she has a fun personality that the fans love seeing on the show so I’m sure that a lot of viewers (and probably Mackenzie herself) were upset when their mother chose to pull them away from Abby Lee Miller’s show. I understand that Mackenzie and Maddie are both children and that their mom Melissa Gisoni can’t easily parent them both if they live their lives in different locations, but as a fan I was so sad to see her leave Dance Moms. Now after some social media stalking, I can’t help wondering if Mack is back.

As of this moment, there has not been any official announcement about Mackenzie returning as a full time cast member, but at the very least, it seems like Maddie’s little sister will be making a cameo appearance or two.
Abby shared some photos of a recent competition with Mackenzie front and center.
I’m sure that Mackenzie’s placement in the middle of this photo is not a coincidence and that Abby wants to stir up some curiosity for the show, but I hope that this competition was filmed. I just want to know if Mackenzie (and her mother) will be back to dance at competitions (and argue behind the scenes).
