At this point, Kelly Dodd is the captain and sole member of Team Vicki. It’s hard to tell if she wholeheartedly supports Vicki Gunvalson or if she just gets off on going against the Real Housewives of Orange County cast members who cannot stand her.
If you’ll recall, Kelly came on the show as a friend of Meghan Edmonds, but that’s not the way Kelly acted during the latest episode. Now Kelly is defending Vicki (yet again- yawn) and clarifying the insults she threw at Meghan.

Kelly is thirsting for reality TV fame – or maybe she has a thing for the underdog when it comes to her attachment to Vicki. She keeps going back and forth from claiming she has no idea what went down with the cancer scam last year and then giving her opinion as if she is all-knowing. And now Kelly is sounding off against all of the ladies (except for Vicki – obviously) in her latest Bravo blog.
Kelly threw some shade when she wrote, “Unfortunately, Shannon [Beador] and Meghan [Edmonds] brought some of the chill back with them from the beach and shared it with Vicki.” Well, that’s what is bound to happen when you invite people who cannot stand each other to a small gathering in front of reality TV cameras. I have no idea how Kelly could ever be surprised by this.

Kelly really laid into all of the ladies (excluding Vicki again): “For those keeping score, so far…Heather [Dubrow], Tamra [Judge], and Shannon have said they forgive Vicki. But, Heather wants to treat Vicki as an acquaintance, while Shannon and Meghan don’t want to rekindle their friendship. In my opinion, that is their loss. Vicki is one of the kindest, most considerate people I know. She is a successful entrepreneur and wonderful matriarch who is committed to the people she loves. I feel privileged to have her as my good friend.” Just wait until you two have some sort of disagreement or Vicki makes up with Tamra and they both hang you out to dry, Kelly.
Yes, it’s great that Kelly is being kind to someone who is in such desperate need of a friend, but maybe Vicki should just step up to the plate, admit her wrongs, and actually apologize instead of lamenting about how no one will let her apologize when she never actually utters the word “sorry”- then Vicki can learn how to be a friend so she can end up having some.
