Carole Radziwill on Jules Wainstein's eating disorder

Carole Radziwill Discusses Jules Wainstein’s Eating Disorder

It is no secret that Carole Radziwill and Jules Wainstein do not like each other. It’s obvious from watching Real Housewives of New York. Plus, Jules trashed Carole and referred to her as “irrelevant” during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live

If you follow them on Twitter, you know the beef doesn’t stop there. There has been plenty of trash talk from the ladies to each other and about each other. So, I was very surprised that Carole actually stood up for Jules in a recent interview – well, she did so after she expressed her opinions about Jules and her eating disorder history.

I figured that Carole would just jump at the chance to come for Jules, but she surprisingly did not. She was a guest on the SiriusXM radio show Wake Up With Taylor and the hosts tried to provoke her with questions about Jules with comments about her health and weight.

One of the hosts referred to Jules by saying “she’s the anorexic one” and other comments about her “being a puker” that just were not at all sensitive.

The other host said that Jules was “open about having an eating disorder.” Carole responded by saying, “I don’t know if she was completely honest about it, but she’s was very open saying that she had one – past tense.”

I can’t tell if Carole‘s roots as a journalist are just shining through here or if she is just very selective with her word choice as a writer or if she is just trying to trash talk Jules. I’m hoping it was not that last one, especially since this is such a serious topic, but it really seemed like an out of turn comment to make.

One of the hosts compared Jules’s arm to a microphone stand in an attempt to convey how thin he felt her arms were, and Carole said, “She still struggles with it. I mean she said it even on the show that she throws up her food still.”

But why!? Why would Carole feel the need to make that comment? I get that she doesn’t like Jules, but it is just not a good look for Carole and it makes her come across as incredibly insensitive.

Finally, Carole said something nice in response to the hosts criticizing Jules’s eating habits and her decision to be on TV, “People with addictions like that, reality TV is so stressful. You have, like, a struggling marriage, two babies, and an eating disorder. It’s really hard.” Wow, how compassionate, Carole. Cue my eye roll.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK CAROLE WAS OUT OF LINE FOR DISCUSSING JULES WAINSTEIN’S EATING DISORDER? OR IS IT FAIR GAME SINCE SHE MENTIONED IT ON THE SHOW?
