As expected, Porsha Williams going vegan is not entertaining enough to be her sole story line this season on Real Housewives of Atlanta. That’s why she refuses to let go when it comes to the comment NeNe Leakes made in response to a viewer question on Watch What Happens Live.
Obviously Porsha has to resort to do something to save her spot on this show, but the woman who spread date rape rumors last season is the last person who should be starting drama. NeNe doesn’t seem to care though. Yes, she did yell at Porsha during the cast trip to San Francisco, but that’s just NeNe.
In a Bravo blog post, NeNe admitted, “I felt relieved after my confrontation with Porsha! It was very much needed. I cannot stand it when a person looks you dead in the eyes and lies! For her to make it seem as though I went on a sabotaging campaign after a caller asked my opinion about Season 9 (when I was only a viewer and not a cast member) really pissed me off!” All she did was answer a very relevant question because (again) Porsha was busy spreading date rape rumors at the time.
NeNe explained that Porsha was really reaching for a story line with this one: “I had not spoken to or seen Porsha in almost two years when that comment was made. She keeps pretending to be in her feelings about that and making it appear to be the reason why we weren’t talking, which is a bunch of crap. I don’t regret a thing about it!” I feel the same way, not that I had anything to do with this, but Marlo Hampton fixing NeNe’s hair while she screamed at Porsha was the best part of the argument.
The other big event that happened during the San Francisco trip was the faux wedding the ladies threw for Kenya Moore. Unlike that divorce party Kenya had last year, this one actually went well. NeNe said, “The wedding the girls staged for Kenya was super fun and I loved marrying her! More than anything I’m happy that Kenya’s happy.”
As soon as Kenya left, she became the topic of conversation immediately which did not sit well with her good friend Cynthia Bailey. NeNe shared, “I wasn’t surprised at all by Cynthia walking off after Kenya’s name was brought up!” What does that even mean? Is it a shady comment? Is it a nice comment? An indifferent remark?
