I feel like I didn’t really get a chance to know Lizzie Rosvsek during her first (and only) season as a full-time cast member on Real Housewives of Orange County and apparently I’m not the only one who felt that way since her divorce filing fell under the radar for over two months. Wow. That’s long time.
Lizzie filed for divorced from her husband Christian Rovsek on October 19, so how are we just finding out about it now? Was an intern making the rounds with a search through a Real Housewives of Orange County alumni database just hoping for some legal updates? I have no idea how this is making news now, but at least her family had some privacy for a couple months.
The divorce was initially reported by RadarOnline. The couple has been married for eight years and they have two sons together. The article also points out that Lizzie hasn’t posted photos with her husband in months, which is sadly a sign of trouble for relationships in this social media obsessed era.
Christian hasn’t responded to Lizzie’s divorce petition and there aren’t any hearings scheduled at this point.
Lizzie tweeted, “Thank you to everyone that knows my heart and spirit. Thank you to all that have been supportive. I love you. I truly do.”
I feel like Lizzie really got the short end of the stick as one-season Housewife. Let’s bring her back onto the show for a round two. She can go out with fellow Housewives Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd who are also newly single.
