Lisa Vanderpump Insists She Is More Down To Earth Than She Seems

As a faithful viewer of both Vanderpump Rules and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, I just cannot decide how I feel about Lisa Vanderpump. Watching Vanderpump Rules, I want to start bartending so Lisa can adopt me and take me under her wing with a restaurant named in my honor. When Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is on the next night, I’m scared of falling victim to secondhand manipulation while I sit on my couch at home. It is essentially a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde situation.

To add to my confusion, the woman who stormed out of a lunch because she felt ignored while Dorit Kemsley comforted Kyle Richards while she was crying is the same person who is an avid philanthropist and LGBT advocate. It’s just so tough to reconcile my thoughts when it comes to Lisa Vanderpump, yet I will never turn away from any of her shows and I have seen every single episode. Multiple times.

In an interview with Life & Style Weekly, Lisa insisted that she is not a diva and pointed out, “I have very few people around me.” She has very few people and a whole zoo of animals. Still, Lisa emphasized that she doesn’t have an assistant or personal trainer. She even joked, “I probably need [a trainer], but I don’t have one!”

Lisa mentioned her personal highlights from becoming a reality TV star: “[RHOBH] has given me so many opportunities to bring attention to my LGBT advocacy and [efforts to end] the Yulin Dog Meat Festival,” Lisa tells In Touch. “And it’s been great for business. I don’t take any of that for granted.”

Lisa continued to list her own accolades and good times: “Getting my star on the [Palm Springs, Calif.] Walk of Stars, being on Dancing With the Stars, speaking before Congress. Pandora and Jason [Sabo]’s wedding.” Basically, Lisa revealed absolutely nothing in that interview and went out of the way to point out all of the good things that she’s done so everyone can forget about her friendship triangle with Dorit and Kyle, the shade thrown at Lisa Rinna and Erika Girardi, and the other “manipulation” story lines that she has (allegedly) been a part of.
