Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards was innocently trying to enjoy a meal with her daughter Alexia Umansky while they were in New York City, but they were joined be an unwanted guess: a rat. Yes, an actual rat was running around the restaurant.
Just like most reality TV stars, Kyle documented the horror on her Instagram story. Unlike most reality stars, Kyle refuses to rat out the restaurant where she had such an unfortunate experience. There is no doubt about it: Kyle Richards is an absolute class act.
TMZ photographers caught up with Kyle after her trip and asked, “How was New York ?” That question gave Kyle an obvious opening to talk shit about that restaurant, but she didn’t take it. Instead she answered, “It was good. Thank you.”
Then the photographer asked for specifics: “You’ve got to talk me through this rat situation. What happened with the rat at the restaurant?” Kyle shared, “Oh my god. It was just crawling around the restaurant on the floor and it climbed up and it was right near my head.” That is disgusting and unjust. A rat should not be anywhere near Kyle and her perfect head of hair.

The paparazzo wanted to know if Kyle walked away with a free meal, which is a logical assumption, but the Beverly Hills Housewife admitted, “No. They gave me 50% off, but I’m not going to say who it was because otherwise I feel bad. Nobody would go there ever again.” Kyle is being so nice to this rat-infested restaurant and they couldn’t even comp her meal? Wow.
Why did they only give Kyle half off? Kyle said, “Because they weren’t very smart. Not very smart at all.”
Kyle was asked, “Was that your worst restaurant experience?” Kyle shared, “That’s my worst restaurant nightmare. I’ve had a cockroach.” Is that a Kim D reference? Definitely not, but I wish it was. Anyway, Kyle continued, “I’ve had a bug in my salad. I’ve had a number of things, but never an actual rat crawling next to my face.”
Obviously Kyle answered “never” when she was asked if she would ever go back to that restaurant. Even so, she still continued to refer to it as “that place” instead of mentioning the name of the restaurant. Kyle shared, “I’m not going to put them on blast. Everyone’s asking me. I feel too bad to do that. I don’t want to ruin someone’s business, but they should get the rats under control because I did see one when we left outside too.” Poor Kyle, but props to her for keeping it classy (as always). She is a true gem. And a half.
