UPDATE: Report: Kim Zolciak Halts Production On ‘Don’t Be Tardy’ After Real Housewives Of Atlanta Reunion Controversy

Thinking as a hypothetical reality TV producer, I assume that this would be a very interesting time to film Don’t Be Tardy. The always polarizing Kim Zolciak is embroiled in controversy after her appearance on the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 10 reunion. The women called her out. They showed multiple flashback clips to refute her blatant lies. They even showed her behind-the-scenes bathroom chat with Andy Cohen where she complained about the questions she was asked and the fact that no one stood up for her.

Andy even put her in check when he said, “There was nothing positive, unfortunately, in your story from the season. It was all combative.” All the bridges have been burned. Saying that it was “not a good look” for Kim is the understatement of the year. Nevertheless, it could provide some interesting footage for her show Don’t Be Tardy– or at least that’s what I assumed. Clearly I was wrong since there are reports that Kim halted production on Season 7 of her show in response to the reunion backlash.

According to an article from Us Weekly, “Kim and her team have halted all production for Don’t Be Tardy while her lawyers have been working around the clock to investigate and deal with the final episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion.” Investigate? What is there to investigate? Kim put herself in this position. In an ideal world, she would have at least one person on her side, but like Andy said, Kim’s interactions were “all combative” this season. Who would want to back that up?

Kim An “insider” told Us Weekly, Kim has pulled the plug on filming. She’s very upset about the entire situation.” This is the time to be filming. This is actually a story line. It is way more compelling than a family vacation, buying Louis Vuitton luggage, or launching a skincare line.

After bragging 9828252626 times that she is on two different Bravo shows, is Kim about to have zero? How long can she possibly hold up production? Don’t Be Tardy already got moved to Friday nights, which is never a good sign. Maybe they’ll just flip the script on Kim and decide not to film with her whenever her “investigation” concludes. It’s never a good idea to bite the hand that feeds you, especially when you already rejected a peach on Real Housewives of Atlanta.
