This Real Housewives of New York season is a tough one for Luann de Lesseps and Bethenny Frankel. Luann is recovering from a very public divorce, getting arrested, and going to rehab. Bethenny is finally getting challenged as the self-proclaimed “Queen B.”
Ramona Singer told Bethenny that she “doesn’t support other women” in that instantly iconic phone call while she was walking her dog. Carole Radziwill has been putting Bethenny in her place episode after episode. Bethenny and Luann will have to answer some tough questions when that reunion comes around.
Ramona may be in the middle of drama at this point in the season, but it seems like she’s in a good place in real life. She recently revealed to Bravo’s The Daily Dish that she is selling her Upper East Side apartment for $4.995 million. This the same apartment that the viewers have seen for the past 10 seasons. It’s a little bit surprising that she’s selling it after she redecorated it last season and hosted that party to celebrate- where she wore that unforgettably tight high ponytail.
Then again, it does make sense that she would want a smaller living space since her daughter Avery Singer is moving out. Ramona described her current place as “a family apartment.” She also admitted, “It’s bittersweet, actually, because the apartment is now so beautiful, and Avery’s leaving. It’s just, I’m going to be walking around that whole wing where she used to be, and I need a fresh start.”
In more eventful news, tonight’s episode sounds amazing, yet again. According to an episode description on the Bravo website there is a lot to look forward to: “Two weeks after Luann’s surprising arrest, she is still the talk of the town. While she’s in rehab in Palm Beach, the ladies try to piece together what happened. Bethenny throws a launch party for her new jeans line, and later meets Carole for lunch to try and resolve their dispute. Sonja [Morgan] flees her construction site and spends a night with Tinsley [Mortimer]. Dorinda [Medley] takes the initiative to check-in on Luann in rehab.” Is it 9PM yet? I am so ready for this one.
