This season of Real Housewives of New York is just too good. We were blessed with that arrest footage of Luann de Lesseps in Palm Beach. Luann went straight from her arrest to rehab and now she’s back with the cast in tonight’s episode. If anyone deserves to be holding an apple in the center of the opening credits, it’s Luann. Sorry, Bethenny Frankel. As compelling as that feud with Carole Radziwill is, Bethenny’s other scenes are essentially a Skinnygirl infomercial.
For the past two seasons it has been all “about Tom” and now Luann’s ex-husband Tom D’Agostino is a main topic of conversation yet again during tonight’s episode. I cannot be the only one who misses the constant Tom chatter from seasons past. Or maybe, I am. I don’t care. Any episode that revolves around Luann and Tom in any capacity is something I’m looking forward to.
According to an episode description on the Bravo website Luann is at the center of yet another episode. What can we expect? “Luann is out of rehab and the ladies whisk her away for a spa weekend in Connecticut.” That is an extremely vague description, but again, I’m here for anything centered around Luann.
Not only that but Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley continue to argue- and this time it’s about a family crest on Sonja’s shoe. Yes, you read that correctly. Apparently the crest represents the Morgan family- as in Sonja’s ex-husband. So of course this drudged up the ex-husband vs. deceased husband debate that these two have been having all season. Bethenny continues her charity work and steps in to defend Sonja- again.
In other news, the women find out that Ramona Singer was trying to go to Tom’s New Year’s Eve party. This was while Luann was in rehab and in case anyone forgot Luann and Tom got married on New Year’s Eve the year before and it’s also Tom’s birthday. Ramona also “dated” Tom in some capacity before he got with Luann. This is all sorts of insensitive, but then again this is Ramona.
