Real Housewives of New Jersey came out swinging with its most recent season. There are whispers of the rumors surrounding Teresa Giudice’s man Luis Ruelas, a topic that will lead to a friendship-ending feud with Margaret Josephs. The Marge is busy exposing everyone and taking no prisoners. Need proof? She dropped a bomb that Jennifer Aydin’s husband Bill Aydin cheated on her a decade ago. It was shocking not only because they seemed like such a solid couple, but Jennifer never held back when it came to shaming Marge for how she met her husband. Even Gia Giudice was already involved in a verbal tussle at a pool party. Jersey is back, baby.
The most recent episode of RHONJ shocked me because I actually found myself somewhat enjoying Jackie Goldschneider. Jackie’s just happy that someone else’s drama is front and center, after cheating rumors about Evan Goldschneider caused a mess last year. Jackie was actually being a supportive friend to Jennifer when the other ladies, particularly the Marge, wanted Jen to either buck up and pretend like it didn’t happen, or own up to her own bad behavior. Jennifer, however, was just overwhelmed, and Jackie was there for her. It was a pleasant surprise.
That is, before Marge threw another vicious wrench into the mix. It seemed like Margaret was bothered that her good pal Jackie was sympathizing with the enemy. Therefore, she brought up a bomb that Jennifer was digging for dirt about Evan’s rumored affair last year. In fact, Margaret claims Jennifer asked Frank Catania, of all people, to put her in contact with Evan’s supposed mistress. Jackie was upset but held it together because she knew Jennifer was even more of a wreck at the moment.

Frank is the resident good guy of RHONJ. Sure, he cheated on Dolores Catania in the past. But they got through it and have a strong friendship these days. So when Margaret brought up his name when it involved the Evan rumors, Frank shut it down real quick. He made an Instagram story to let the people know his stance because he knows first-hand the impact situations like this have on a family.
In a screenshot captured by @realhousewiveszone, Frank said his peace. “Just to clarify, I was still of the absolute position that @evangoldschneider never cheated on @jackiegoldschneider so there is no possibility that I knew of any woman or said anything of such to anyone,” he wrote. The RHONJ husbands’ gang is so tight, he obviously doesn’t want friction with Evan. Because even though the rumors weren’t true, the Evan and Jackie debacle caused a whole lot of issues behind the scenes. The Jennifer and Bill of it all seemed like the sequel.
