Margaret Josephs “Disappointed” In Will Smith After Slap At Oscars; Claps Back About Pool Pushing Comparisons

America could have completely glossed over the Oscars this year, had not an apparent physical altercation happened onstage.  The Oscars 2022 will forever be synonyms with actor Will Smith storming the stage and allegedly punching presenter Chris Rock in the face.  Some verbal abuse followed, and then the whole event was glossed over.  Oh, and Will won the Best Actor Award for his role in King Richard.  It was a truly bizarre dichotomy.  Nicole Kidman’s reaction was everything though.

Well, we’ve all got an opinion frankly.  But not all will get a platform to express it.  Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs had something to say, and voiced her disappointment to her Twitter followers. “Wow so disappointed in Will Smith’s behavior tonight,” Margaret wrote, “Chris Rock is a class act, he handled himself with true professionalism.  Amazing the way he kept it moving.”

Oh Margaret, are you really taking a zero tolerance policy on physical contact?  Did you not push Danielle Staub’s ex-husband Marty Caffrey into Jennifer Aydin’s pool on RHONJ Season 9 then walk through her house with Joe Benigno like a pair of Mafia bosses?

Well, if Margaret chose to forget that inconvenient truth, then one fan was quick to call her out on it. The fan wrote, “Girl, like you weren’t pushing people in the pool and being violent your own self on national tv save the righteous act.”

Margaret, of course, had a deflective, and perfectly reasonable response, “I’m on a reality series that’s for entertainment lol not the Academy awards the most prestigious stage in the arts. Flattered you compare the two.”

So it’s an issue of location, location, location.  Physical altercations are just fine, so long as they don’t occur in places of perceived prestige.  Interesting stance on the issue.  Perhaps Margaret would have been ok with having her hair pulled had it happened in a convenience store, rather than an upscale boutique. The published author and entrepreneur just pardoned all physical confrontations on RHONJ past, present, and future.

Margaret’s Twitter followers are divided on the issue.  Many jumped to her defense against the questioning post.  That didn’t stop the fan from clapping back again though.  “Acting like her husband didn’t assault people on her behalf too like girl she tried it and failed miserably,” the follower wrote, “She can’t argue off script apparently.”

Controversy follows Margaret.  And she manages it just fine.  Despite the drama her post created, she’ll be back on top, undisturbed by the critique.  Love her or hate her, Margaret makes for fantastic reality TV.

TELL US- WHAT IS YOUR REACTION TO MARGARET’S POST?  WHAT DO YOU THINK OF HER RESPONSE TO THE TWITTER FOLLOWER?  SHOULD THERE BE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY ON PHYSICAL CONTACT ON RHONJ?
