Mary is an avid collector of vintage clothes, lover of vertiginous shoes, reader of delightful books, and a possessor of a degree in Sociology – the evidence of which now sits sadly and uselessly in a box in her basement. She became an apostate of bitchy gossip from an early age – waiting for her mother’s trips to the grocery store so she could read US Weekly with glee. Other than that she is a mama to a little boy and a basset hound named Theodore Lovely.

Melissa’s day-to-day responsibilities include sending her children to school with clean faces and matching shoes and working from home for The Consciously Parenting Project. Once those grueling tasks are complete, she’s free to devour the many shows residing in her DVR. She’s hopelessly addicted to reality TV, Will and Grace, and Pinterest. Melissa likes naps, birthday cake, reading, and candy. She does not like parties, going to bed at a reasonable hour, being outdoors, or cooking.
