The fourth episode of the Real Housewives if Miamiaired last night bringing us yet another cooking party to go along with a slain pig (sorry PETA) and a lackluster proposal, but fret not as the always glamorous Elsa made an appearance on the show.
The show starts off with Larsa Pippen and her kids at a zoo home with their pet lizards, tortoises and bunnies. Not a problem for Larsa, who lets us know the pets are the responsibilities of her nannies. Larsa reveals the kids get to have their pets as a reward for getting good grades, and at this rate, we can expect pet tigers and rattle snakes on the Real Housewives of Miami season 6. Oh who am I kidding? This show isn’t making it past season 1!

TMZ reported over 2 weeks ago that some of the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members got into a bar brawl during a visit to the Dominican Republic, which was being filmed by Bravo for the third season.
Just how serious was this bar brawl? Well let’s just say it was serious enough for the overseas cops to detain Joe, Albie and Christopher along with their roommate Gregory Bennett.
The drama began on February 23 at about 1am when cast members including Caroline and her husband Albert, Teresa and Joe, Jacqueline and Chris Laurita, newbies Kathy and Richy Wakile, Melissa and Joe Gorga, plus the Manzo children (Chris, Albie, and Lauren) visited the Hard Rock in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
While the police isn’t certain about who started the fight, sources reveal the bar brawl ensued after the NJ Housewives’ group popped open a bottle of champagne, accidentally spraying surrounding patrons, including the male patrons involved in the fight.
“Everyone was involved. It became a massive scene,” said a source. “Usually when there’s a fight we take one guy, but this time we took everybody,” a police representative told Radar.
The physical fight involved about eight people including Joe, Albie, Christopher and Gregory, who were reportedly defending the women. The source reveals Joe was “beating on the guy” and struck a male patron with glass. This coincides with the TMZ report which also stated someone involved grabbed a drinking glass and smashed it over a man’s head.
According to the police, it was the injured male patrons who made the complaint to them. The two injured patrons were Americans Adolfo Arriolla, who had a fracture in his arm, and Jason Gomez, who suffered a fracture in his leg and scratches on his face. There were other injured parties who suffered bruises.
The authorities took the complaint seriously as the two injured patrons along with Joe, Albie, Christopher and Gregory were detained and taken to the police station where their passports were seized.
Everyone detained was ultimately released the afternoon of Wednesday, February 23 when local attorneys helped smooth over the situation and a verbal agreement was reached between all parties. No charges were filed according to police. A photo of Teresa, Joe, Christopher and Lauren from the trip is below.

Top Chef All Star favorite Carla Hall was sent packing on the last episode of the show after coming up short in the elimination and quick fire challenges.
In a new interview with TV Guide, Carla talks being eliminated and admits she would have sent herself packing too. Carla also discusses why she lost focus, what she’s up to today and why she didn’t give us any “hootie-hoo”s this season. Excerpts from her interview below –
Could you have left the rice off since it was “undone-te”? Carla: [Laughs] Exactly, it was “undone-te”! I could’ve left it off. As soon as I poured that rice into that pot, I turned to Hosea and said, “I just gave you $10,000.” Tom said, “I can’t get past rice that’s not cooked properly.” Me either. No argument there. … My frame of mind wasn’t there. It’s also hard stopping the competition [in September], coming back to your regular life and then going back in [for the finals in January]. I didn’t have the same focus.
You agreed with the judges’ decision. Did you think you were going home? Carla: Yeah, in the stew room, Antonia thought she was going. I said, “No, I’m going.” It wasn’t until Judges’ Table that I realized how underdone the pork was. As soon as I heard that, I knew. I would’ve sent myself home too. I won’t fight for a bad dish. … I said this on the show: I would’ve rather gone home knowing I did a really great dish, even in New York at Ellis Island. I loved that dish. I would’ve preferred to go home then because I would’ve been out-cooked. I didn’t want to go home with a dish that had technical flaws and one where I didn’t push the envelope.
I was disappointed we didn’t hear any “hootie-hoo”s this season. What happened? Carla: We did them. They just didn’t show them. I know, with Matthew, people were saying, “Why didn’t you ‘hootie-hoo’ each other?” Well, I knew where he was. He was right at the table!
As for what she’s up to today, Carla reveals she’s transitioning from catering into doing a line of cookies. “I changed the name from Alchemy Caterers to Alchemy by Carla Hall. It’ll be a line of seasonal products until I eventually hopefully open up a café,” she said.
In other Carla news, she has talked on the show about being a former model in the early 90s, and now we have a number of her photos from her modelings days courtesy of ivillage. Carla was a high fashion model for a few years strutting her stuff on the runways of London, Paris and Milan. Those photos are below!

According to Bravo’s Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development aka Andy Cohen, the Real Housewives of Miami is the end of additional cities to the successful reality series.
When asked about which city he would look to next to find more housewives by OK! magazine, Andy replied, “I really feel like we’re done.” When further pressed on if Miami is the last stop on the Housewives spinoffs? Andy answered, “Yeah.”
And when it comes to other housewives getting their own Bravo spinoff shows a la Bethenny Frankel, Andy reveals that is very unlikely. “I think they’re all good where they are,” he stated.
This comes as no surprise following the lackluster ratings and reviews of the Miami franchise. The show has averaged a dismal 1.18 million viewers over the first 3 episodes.
While ending the addition of new franchises might be best, we are a little disappointed we will never get to see a Real Housewives of Dallas. That would have been all kinds of awesomeness no?

The duo released a statement yesterday admitting that while things have been bumpy at times, they are still in love and dedicated to one another.
“At long last, Emily and I can be open to the world and each other about our relationship. Though we are madly in love, it has been a bumpy couple of months for us and our priority right now is to focus on our relationship,” said Brad, 38, and Emily, 25. “We hope that you can respect our privacy as we return to normalcy and begin our off-screen lives together,” they added in the statement.
Meanwhile, Bachelor host Chris Harrison appeared on the Ryan Seacrest radio show yesterday morning during which he revealed Brad and Emily have broken up more than once before. “They actually broke up a couple of times. They both are incredibly stubborn, they’re very much alike and neither one of them give. And they’ve had some knock-down drag out fights,” said Chris.
Brad and Emily also grace the latest cover of PEOPLE magazine, out tomorrow, opening up about their relationship to the mag.
“I’m so happily engaged. I’ve never been happier, I promise you that,” Brad tells PEOPLE. “The hardest part is behind us,” adds Emily. “I feel pretty confident if we can make it through [the past three months], we can make it through.”
The mag also teases that Brad and Emily might be trying to have a baby despite their bumpy relationship thus far.
And finally, despite the not so positive response from fans of the show, ABC is moving full speed ahead with Ashley Hebert as their next Bachelorette. The network in fact released some new promo images of Ashley, 26. Those photos are below!
On the new episode titled “Waterfront and Center,” Alexia serves up a full-blown Cuban dinner for the ladies, but vegetarian Lea gripes about the meat on the menu. Meanwhile, Adriana, still wounded from her ill-fated gallery opening, opens up about her various woes. Marysol gets a surprise proposal, and dramas from the Blacks’ past gala come back to haunt Cristy.
In other RHMIA news, it seems this first season will be a very short one as there have been reports only 6 or 7 episodes are scheduled to air. According to the TV Guide listings, there are only 6 episodes this season, with the finale airing in two weeks.
Ratings – Some good news for Bravo as the ratings went up 30% last week from the previous week, with over 1.30 million viewers tuning in.
And finally, it seems Miami housewife Lea Blackis no fan of Sarah Palin’s. In an opinion piece written on the Huffington Post, Lea advises Sarah to stick to doing reality TV rather than politics. “Save the “domestic” drama for your reality show!,” wrote Lea, also adding that she has “always been politically conscious.”
E! also caught up with Lea yesterday during which she expanded on her opinion of Palin. “Sarah Palin is the sideshow in the circus that everyone wants to watch, but that most people don’t take seriously,” said Lea. “The Republican Party has become a circus and she’s the sideshow act that everyone likes to laugh at, not with.”
Lea then makes it clear she doesn’t think Palin would make a great president. “I think she makes for great entertainment, but I don’t think she can be taken seriously for leading a country,” she added.

During the now infamous limo fight between the two sisters, Kyle physically threatened Kim as the two had some nasty words of exchange during which Kyle stated Kim was an “alcoholic.” Since that episode aired, the two have yet to be seen together in public. In fact, Kim’s only public appearance since came via a brief joint interview with sister Kathy Hiltonon the E! network, to wish Paris Hilton a happy birthday.
Many fans continue to wonder the status of the sisters’ relationship as there have been conflicting reports in the media since. And while Kyle stated a month ago that the two were in “a good place,” adding “the show has taught me to handle her in a different way,” the latest report by UsWeekly seems to dispute that.
According to UsWeekly, the sisters are definitely “not talking.” The reason? “Kim has had it with Kyle.”
The story goes on to confirm previous reports which stated all of the original BH housewives, including Kim, have signed on to return for a second season, though an insider adds that Kim, 46, was on the fence about returning. “Kim finally signed on but told Kyle she wants nothing to do with her next season,” reveals the insider.
The source also adds that on the next season, “Kim will face her alcohol problems on the show.”
While Kyle’s behavior on the show was bad enough, it’s likely Kim’s disdain also stems from the aftermath of the show. In the weeks following the airing of that volatile episode, there were numerous reports in the press that seemed to have been planted by ‘Team Kyle’ sources. Majority of these reports attempted to paint Kim in a very negative light, while pretty much attempting to do the exact opposite for Kyle.
As for the Bravo hit show, numerous reports state filming has already began on the second season.

In a brief interview with E! Online, Amber, who is still facing charges for domestic violence and recently had some nude photos leak online, reveals she “despises” Jenelle’s bad behavior. And no, you are not being punked.
“I pretty much despise what she stands for. She’s an idiot and I don’t care if people know or not,” Amber Potwoodstated. “I literally have worked my ass off because of this whole battery thing to make sure I keep my daughter. They [MTV] shouldn’t put her on, it’s embarrassing!”
Amber’s diss might have to do with a tweet Jenelle made back in January during which she indirectly referred to Amber as being too orange. Jenelle tweeted back then, “Its funny how the other original teen moms have to get jealous over us. Get over it. grow up. yr as fake as that orange suntan and yr boobs.”
In the meantime, Jenelle will appear in court April 14, on charges of breaking and entering plus pot possession. No word yet on when Amber’s due in court for her domestic violence charges.
In other Teen Mom news, the Hollybaby blog is reporting that Teen Mom 2 stars Kailyn Lowry and Jo Rivera reached a custody agreement several months ago for their son Isaac.
According to the agreement, Jo is required to fork over $600 a month in child support to Kailyn. Some are surprised by the amount, perhaps because Jo is only 19-years-old. The custody agreement also states Kailyn gets primary physical custody of Isaac, and Jo gets visitation every weekend, “from Friday morning until Sunday at 8:00 PM.” The two will alternate on all major holidays.
