Jon and Kate Plus 8′s latest season premiered last night in what seemed like one of the worst train wrecks to ever hit reality TV. The show was rather painful and quite awkward to watch. If it wasn’t obvious before that these two were headed towards the Big “D” word also known as a divorce, it is now from watching their show.
Kate continued to be her typical controlling self and made it a point to let we the viewers know that she was doing everything all by herself, six times to be exact. We also learned that Jon needed a weekend off (to visit his alleged girlfriend perhaps?) leading to Kate planning the kids’ birthday party all by herself.
Kate confirmed that she feared she and Jon might be separating saying, “I am thinking this possibly could be our last family picture together,” she says of a photo taken at the sextuplets’ 5th birthday party. “I don’t know…parents of multiples have, like, triple the divorce rate, and I was thinking we were gonna beat that. I don’t know if I can say that anymore. Very swiftly, we turned into two different people, and that’s just hard. I’ve tried for six months to figure out what the problem is, or remedy the problem. It’s so complicated.”
Kate tried to play the role of the victim/scorned woman, failing miserably because she continued to come of as bitchy controlling. Perhaps she should stop ordering her husband around, or maybe she should try treating him as an adult sometimes instead of her 9th kid.
Overall, this is all very sad, mainly because there are 8 kids involved in this mess created by the adults. While one can only hope they can find a way to make it work, it seemed very apparent from last night’s episode that they have both thrown in the towel.
MSNBC is reporting that all of the New York housewivesincluding Kelly Bensimon will be returning for the 3rd season.
The housewives are said to have signed a new deal that will be paying each of them close to $30,000 per episode. Guess it really does pay to be an ass on national television uh? The same article goes on to say the husbands who get paid nothing, are also trying to negotiate a salary for themselves.
In other news, someone posted this genius spoof of the Reunion show. You have to see this!
Following all the rumors and controversy surrounding the Gosselin family, Kate Gosselin is finally admitting to “everything’s falling apart” in her marriage. Hopefully, the season 5 premier of Jon and Kate plus 8 tonight on TLC will shed more light on the truth. Kate says, “I feel like the world is sitting on my shoulders.” Several tabloids and blogs have painted Kate as a being a monster even though pictures have shown her husband cheating with a younger woman.
Both Jon and Kate, who have been married for about 10 years now speak to the camera separately on the show. In previous shows, they have always given their testimonials as a couple. Kate has vowed not to give up.
UsWeekly has reported that Jon Gosselin now lives in an apartment above the garage of their $1.1 million home. Short-tempered Kate has reportedly fired 40 staffers in three months. She is also accused of being in an affair with her bodyguard.
The premier clip which carried the tagline, “There are two sides to every story,” urges fans to watch the fifth season premiere to see Jon and Kate face each other for the first time.

DWTS contestant, Melissa Rycroft admits to UsMagazine that she really wanted to win after Shawn Johnson was named season eight winner of Dancing with the Stars at the finale. “I wanted that mirror ball trophy, I really did,” she tells Usmagazine. “But I don’t need it because I know I’ve accomplished more than I ever thought I could.
Rycroft who rose to fame after being dumped on national TV by Jason Mesnick on The Bachelor is thankful to have been one of the final three competitors, along with Johnson and Sex in the city star Gilles Marini.
According to Rycroft, her life has changed over the last several months and she is grateful for the opportunities she has been given. “Never in a million years did I imagine I’d be dancing with an Olympian and someone who was in a blockbuster movie,” Rycroft said after she and partner Tony Dovolani were eliminated Tuesday.
Rycroft feels like they all won because they all worked hard. “Backstage, we were all really happy for each other. We started reminiscing about our journeys and how far each of us has come and the last time we were all out here, we all got perfect scores”, Rycroft continues.
So what’s next for Rycroft? Now that she’s in the reality show spotlight, will she try to stay there? “I really don’t know,” she tells Us. “I’m not going to pursue anything right now, but if things come my way I will look into them.” Melissa is open to any opportunities that may come her way and she seems to have a bright future ahead of her.
Most people thought Marini will win the trophy but even though he took Second-place he is “thrilled” for Johnson but disappointed he let his son down. Marini lost by less than one percent.“I told my son I was sorry because he only understands one thing and that is, “Daddy lost,” so it is difficult for him to understand,” Marini tells Us. Not to worry, he plans on getting his son lots of gift to make up for the loss.
Marini hopes to be involved in several meaningful projects in the future. Something tells me we haven’t seen the last of either Marini or Rycroft.
AI alum, Clay Aiken, who lost to Ruben Studdard in 2003 claims to watch the American Idol show once during every season. According to Aiken, he caught Lambert’s rendition of “Ring of Fire” by Johnny Cash. Aiken bashed the performance, referring to it as “contrived,” “awful” and “slightly frightening.” Like that wasn’t enough, Aiken also said, “He thought his ears would bleed”.
But wait — there’s more. Aiken aims his wrath on “Idol” itself. He thinks the series showed bias for Lambert over ultimate champ Kris Allen.
I don’t understand why these celebrities say one thing and then try to retract when the damage has already been done. Clay has since apologized to Lambert via his fan site on Saturday morning, saying it was just his opinion.

VH1 has announced today that Megan Hauserman, aka the reality show villian we all love to hate, will be getting her own dating show. The dating show which has just finished filming will be titled Megan Wants A Millionaire.
Megan has appeared on previous VH1 shows such as Rock of Love 2, I love Money, and Charm School. The show will be premiering on VH1 on August 2nd at 9/8c. More info about the new show below -
Blonde bombshell and “celebreality” vixen, Megan Hauserman is looking for love — but not with any average Joe. Megan has her eye, mind and heart set on one type of man…a millionaire! Unfortunately, Megan’s had her heart broken by Bret Michaels in Rock of Love 2 and lost out on the $250,000 check in I Love Money. But now she’s back with vengeance to find both love and money with the goal of becoming the ultimate trophy wife. This summer, Megan will put 18 millionaires to the test as they compete for her affection in Megan Wants a Millionaire, premiering Sunday, August 2, 2009.
Megan’s millionaire suitors will compete in challenges ranging from going head to head in a high roller Las Vegas tournament to shelling out money in a date auction. Whoever wins the challenge, will win a date with Megan. But, it won’t just be any date. The millionaires will be given the chance to “upgrade” their date. How about driving Megan to dinner in an Aston Martin, instead of an Escalade? Or why not take a helicopter ride to Catalina Island instead of the ferry? One by one, Megan will eliminate the guys who can’t shell out the dough, until the ultimate millionaire is left.
I am actually looking forward to this show and have been for a while. Love her or hate her, the chick is very entertaining. I was actually rooting for her on I love Money. More Megan Pictures After the Jump -
The last episode of VH1′sDaisy of Love ended with London aka Joshua Lee throwing in the towel, and leaving Daisy in tears. In a new interview with VH1, London talks about the reason he quit, his feelings for Daisy and answers on whether or not he regrets leaving the show. Below are excerpts from this interview -
During your exit interview, you said that you were 95 percent sure that leaving the show was the right thing to do. Looking at it now, did you make the right call?
Even now it’s hard to say. I won’t know that for a while. It’s still kinda fresh. I think it was the right call, but I definitely have some regrets.
What was the main factor that led you to your decision? Was it Daisy walking away as you were talking to her about your domestic situation?
Well, here’s the thing. That didn’t go down the way you saw it on TV. The show made it look like I was homeless. I moved down to Pennsylvania to take care of my dad’s bills and stuff, to help him out financially because he was in a bad spot. He had a really bad back, and they put him on pain pills. He got a addicted to pain pills because he was on them for so long, so he went to rehab to get off them. We had some problems, some stupid stuff happened and he decided to kick me out. I wasn’t homeless, I had places to stay and I was moving back to New York, anyway, because that’s where I was before I went to live with my dad. It wasn’t that I was homeless, I was just couch surfing because I had a week between getting kicked out of my dad’s house and going on the show. No big deal. It’s not how they made it look. So, we get in the limo after the date and Daisy says she’s cold, so I said, “Wear my jacket.” She says, “Ew, this smells like smoke! Gross!” OK, you smoke, too, Daisy. This is after she’s already given me an attitude. She’s like, “No! I’m gonna wear it!” She finally finds this sweater she was looking for, and she takes this girly sweater, throws it at me and says, “Here. You can wear that.” I was like, “F*** that.” That’s when I got pissed off. It’s like, if I do something stupid like pass out from drinking too much on national TV, I deserve to be the butt of a joke. But if I’m doing something nice, don’t try to make me a joke. I don’t care if it’s your show and we’re all here for you, if you’re going to make a joke out of me, I’m going to defend myself. I’m gonna say, “Screw this. It’s stupid.” There are plenty of things to make fun of me for besides offering you my jacket when I’m cold. That’s when I said, “This is bulls***, I want to go home.” I’m not going to let someone try to turn me into a chump.
So basically it came down to your feelings for Daisy not being strong enough to run the risk of looking like a chump on TV?
Kind of. It’s less about looking like a chump. It’s more like…it’s a TV show. It’s like if you go to a strip club and the stripper is telling you how much she likes you and if you fall for that and spend all your money, you’re an idiot. I just figured I’m not going to be a joke. I’m not going to sit there and be part of a TV show. I like to be real. If I can’t be myself, I get really weird, I flip out and I just want to get away.
What did you think of how destroyed she was by your decision?
I didn’t see any of that at the time, but watching it on TV made me sad. There was a connection between us and watching it made wonder if it was a bad decision to leave.
What about the alcohol thing? Do you have a handle on your drinking?
The thing about the first episode is I have an ear disease called Ménière’s. Sometimes my inner ear fills up with fluid and I hear distortion in my left ear when I sing. One of the symptoms of that is vertigo. I’d been having a problem with that after flying out to L.A., with the change in pressure and the stress and everything. I was drunk the first night, but that kinda kicked in and then it was over for me. I couldn’t stop spinning. It bothered me for the next few days in the house, too. I don’t drink that much. I tend to drink socially and being in the house was one big social experiment. I was drinking socially from morning till night, but when I’m not in that house, I’m not being social so I don’t always drink.
In all, was this a good experience for you?
It was probably one of the coolest things I’ve done in my life. But I don’t know if I would do it again, right now I’m glad I’m back in New York, playing with my band and working on my music.
