Uma Thurman’s ex boyfriend and New York City hotelier, André Balazs, has found a new love interest. André who dated Uma Thurman on and off for about 4 years was spotted with Real Housewives of NYC’s star, Kelly Bensimon.

Both Kelly and André were seen at the opening of the lounge hot spot wall at W South Beach. The following night, the pair were found cuddling at Andre’s hotel, The Raleigh. Later in the evening, the pair were once again seen holding hands while dancing, laughing and sharing drinks at the VIP lounge.

According to sources, André was worried when he saw Kelly appearing to flirt with former DWTS contestant Gilles Marini. He was however relieved when he found out that she was only conducting an interview for Plum TV.

Jon Gosselin’s 22 year old girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, is speaking out on their new relationship.  The pair appear to still be going strong a whole week after they were first photographed together.

Photos and stories of Hailey being a coke addict/bar hopping/part-time lesbian be damned.  These two are in the it for the long haul.  Hailey spoke out to People magazine in a new interview saying she is surprised to be dating Jon, “If you had told me a few months ago, I wouldn’t have believed you.”

Oh there’s more.  Hailey says the feelings began to develop while Jon was nursing his broken heart at her parents’ New York City home in May. “He was so strong,” Glassman says. “I admired him.”

She goes on to deny engagement rumors, while claiming her parents “love” Jon.

Hailey also manages to get a shot in at Jon’s ex wife, Kate Gosselin, when asked about what she loves most about the Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad.  “I’m a huge believer in not controlling someone,” says Hailey. “I’ll give my opinion but tell him to do what he wants to do. He said, ‘I’m just not used to having an option.’ I told him life is about options.”

Aww, and they said it wouldn’t last.

In her latest blog, Jillian Harris talks about her thoughts on last night’s “Men Tell All.” She doesn’t really touch on the whole Wes topic, but does talk about her favorite moments of the season as well as seeing all of her “ex-boyfriends” again as she puts it.

Below are some excerpts from her latest Bachelorette blog -

“If I have eliminated someone who you loved, I am sorry … I wish I could have kept every wonderful guy from the show but I am only looking for ONE man to make ME happy. I DO have an excellent judge of character and I do know what I am looking for in a unique individual to go through life with me.

Also, I want to clear up a little confusion about the perception of my “engagement standards” coming into this journey. I was not desperate for an engagement. I actually was very nervous about it and would be happy with no engagement if that were the right choice. All I wanted and would have been happy with was someone to love who loved me back. Someone who had some sort of conviction of how they felt, or was willing to make a sacrifice of any kind, as I had stated several times that I was eager to do the same. Not only is this conviction from the guy an indication for me to move forward with the relationship, but it is also an indication of what our life would be like post-show.

The Men Tell All was actually a blast! Well … it didn’t start out so fun … I got to the set and was waiting and waiting and waiting to come out onstage. Now that I’ve seen the show I understand why! The guys clearly had a lot to get off their chests.

Over the weekend, there were talks that Paula Abdul may not return for season 9 of American Idol according to her manager. American Idol fellow judge, Simon Cowell is however not concerned because he believes the contract will be finalized amicably and Paula will be back on the show.

“She’ll be fine. She’ll be on the show,” he tells Extra” I don’t get a lot of say. I’ve just made it clear that I want Paula on the show.”

AI host, Ryan Seacrest also says, “I think as far as I know, you’ll see everybody back. I hope so.”

David Sonenberg Abdul’s manager, raised concern over the weekend, telling the Los Angeles Times that the singer-dancer hasn’t been offered a contract yet.

In the meantime, a “Keep Paula” campaign has been launched on Twitter to keep Paula on the show. Idol alums, Matt Giraud, Anoop Desai and Danny Gokey have also joined the campaign showing support for Paula.

Abdul also took to her Twitter page over the weekend to thank fans for standing by her. She wrote: “I’m actually moved 2 tears upon reading the enormous amount of tweets showing me your kindness, love & undying support. God bless all you! If it weren’t for you, this specific time and situation would feel a lot worse! XoP”

The Bachelorette “Men Tell All” episode is set to air tonight, but one man who will not be appearing on the show is Wes Hayden. Arguably the most hated Bachelor since Jason Mesnick, one can’t help but wonder why Wes will not be speaking his peace tonight.

You would think the men are contractually obligated to appear on the show, but evidently Wes seems to be a special case. According to Austin360.com, an entertainment site based in Wes’ hometown, “(Wes) angrily declined to appear on the ‘Men Tell All’ episode. A week later, however, he changed his mind but was told the show didn’t want him there.”

The reason being? The producers of The Bachelorette are not happy with Wes giving out unauthorized interviews. Wes has been pretty much bad mouthing the show in an attempt to defend himself. He blames bad editing for the way came off on the show. When asked about his non appearance, Wes said -

“They cancelled mine. They didn’t want me talking to anybody. I’ve been available. I’ve worked too hard in my life to let somebody destroy me for their TV ratings. I might be from Texas and I might talk slow, but I’m not stupid. If I had a hidden agenda to go on that show, my lips would have been sealed, never would I have once said I was there for my CD, my career and I have a girlfriend. I know how to market myself, and it would not have been to go on TV and have everyone hate me. (An ABC spokeswoman, Cathy Rehl, said that the week Hayden was booted on air, he wasn’t available for a media conference call. Also, ‘we don’t do conference calls with all the men,’ she said.)”

Kandi Burruss of The Real Housewives of AtlantaLisa Wu Hartwell Real Housewives of Atlanta 2

Kandi Burruss and Lisa Wu Hartwell are dishing out some gossip on what is to come during the 2nd season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. In an all new interview with TheYBF.com, we find out Kandi and Nene Leakes will clash at some point during the season, plus Kandi talks about helping Kim Zolciak with her “singing” career.

Lisa also talks about what she deems as a double standard between the Atlanta housewives and other housewives’ franchises. Below are some excerpts from the interview -

Do you believe there’s a double standard when people are simply entertained by the antics of the “NJ Housewives”, but call the “Atlanta Housewives”’s antics “ghetto?

Lisa Wu-Hartwell: Absolutely. It’s sad but it’s always been that way. For instance, people look up to Hugh Hefner and the Playboy bunnies show. But get a black guy in there doing the same thing and it’s a problem.

Does the widely used term to describe the cast “Ghetto fabulous” irritate you?

Kandi Burrus: Yes. Ghetto is a frame of mind. And people relate it to color. Our show is entertaining and that’s all.

Lisa, this is your second season. But is there anything from Season 1 you would “do over” if you could?

LWH: {Laughs} Well, I said I would flip Kim over the couch during the Reunion taping. I probably wouldn’t have said it had I had a week or so to let things settle. There were some things said prior, and the wounds were raw and fresh. But we don’t have the liberty to say “take this off” simply because there are cameras there.

Out of all the other “Housewives” shows in the “Real Housewives” franchise, what’s your preferred locale?

LWH: I have some friends on “NY” so I actually like watching them. But “NJ” did keep me entertained. They were so genuine.

KB: I would say New Jersey. I couldn’t get into “New York”. I watched only the first couple episodes of it.

Speaking of “NJ”, what are your thoughts on Danielle?

LWH: Blogs and media probably don’t get it 100% right. But if [the stories about her stripper and coke habit past] are true, hopefully she’s moved on from it and is in a better place.

KB: I actually think she’s pretty funny when I was watching her. She’s in her 40’s now so I’m sure she’s changed.

braden-big-brother The first houseguest evicted from Big Brother 11, California surfer Braden Bacha is speaking out on his time in the house, as well as his confrontation of Lydia, who he felt had betrayed him. In this new interview with People, Braden shows no remorse for the racial slurs he made in the house, even managing to get some digs in towards Kevin and Lydia again.

You’re the first one out, which is exactly what you would call on honor. Were you surprised?
I’m not going to be pissed off about something I can’t do anything about. I’d rather be the first one out than the third or fourth one out. The sky’s the limit for me. It’s summertime and it’s my mom’s birthday next week. I have things to look forward to.

What was your downfall?
It’s called sabotage. Lydia and I were getting along great and she went behind my back to save her own ass. She went and told lies to Jessie and told the whole Jock crew that I was out to take them out and kill them.

Do you regret calling Lydia names?
Absolutely not. She’s gross-looking and she does weird things and she hangs out with old men and she’s tattooed from head-to-toe and I think she’s disgusting. I have no respect for her.

Kevin ran up to defend Lydia and you threw water on him. Do you regret that?
No. He’s flamboyantly gay and you can’t punch a gay guy, let alone push him. I just wanted him to get out of my face. It was like saying, “Shoo, button.”

If they accepted your apology, why did Chima get up in the eviction pleas and call you a “bigot,” a “racist” and a “misogynist?”
She’s completely bipolar. She goes up and down all day long … She looks at you like she wants to kill you. She’s completely nuts.

Now that you know it was Ronnie who sold you out in the end, what are your feelings on the newest HOH?
People are going to realize that he totally blew the whole game for us. We had the whole strategy figured out and he blew it. He blew half the house’s plans, and people are going to get that it was Ronnie’s fault. And eventually they’ll go after him.

paula-abdul-contract_290b

The American idol judges and host are finalizing contract negotiations before the show returns for the ninth season. Ryan Seacrest recently renewed his contract for three years, a $45 million deal to continue as host, perhaps making him the highest paid host in the history of reality tv.  Randy Jackson also signed on through 2011 while Kara DioGuardi has expressed interest to return. Though Simon Cowell will return for another season, his long term future on AI remains uncertain.

There were several reports that Paula Abdul will be returning to the show, however Paula’s manager is not certain of her return since the producers are not agreeing to their demands.

“Very sadly, it does not appear that she’s going to be back on Idol,” Abdul’s manager, David Sonenberg, who has yet to receive a proposal for her return, told The Los Angeles Times.

According to Sonenberg, who began managing the star in June, he told the network Abdul would “love to be on the show,” but is yet to get a response from the producers.

“She’s not a happy camper as a result of what’s going on. She’s hurt. She’s angry,” Sonenberg said. “I think at this point we’re going to be considering everything, including some kind of a competition show. She has tremendous ideas for a whole variety of shows.”

Tell us: Will you continue to watch American Idol without Paula Abdul?
