“I really enjoy being on TV and I love my fans,” she says. “I want to continue doing TV work.”
Jeff Schroeder is speaking out on his recent departure from Big Brother 11 in a new interview with People. The 30 year old advertising salesman from Chicago, who also happens to be one of the dreamiest most liked houseguests in Big Brother history, answers the questions BB fans have been wondering about, such as why did he put his trust in Natalie and Kevin?
Jeff also talks about his future with houseguest Jordan. Excerpts from his interview are below -
What happened to the kiss you promised to give Jordan?
There were a lot of emotions running through my head. Jordan was the first person that I grabbed and if she would have come with me to the door, I definitely would have [kissed her]. I didn’t leave the way that I wanted to. I wish I would have kissed Jordan and I wish I would have said more encouraging words to both Jordan and Michele.
Do you think you made the wrong choice by going after Russell and siding with Kevin and Natalie?
Everyone is confused about me “switching” sides from Russell to Kevin. There were no sides. It was me and Jordan in the end. I wanted to split Michele and Russell up because there was something cooking between them two, and I wanted to get the strongest player that was left in the house. I wouldn’t change anything that I did. I made the decisions and I put it all on my shoulders but if I had won the POV, I personally think that I would have won the game.
America gave you the coup d’etat, which you used to flip the game on its head. How shocked were you when they revealed it to you?
It was actually overwhelming and I don’t think I did a good enough job in thanking America for that because I was actually speechless. I was wishing for something the entire game and I felt like my back was to the wall and this was a gift from above. It was the best feeling in the world to know hat someone outside the game was on my side.
Who do you think has played the best game so far?
Hats off to Michele. She comes through in the clutch, she has big wins and proves herself time and time again. To this day I cannot figure her out, which is probably a really good quality to have in this game. The difference between Michele and Kevin is Michele bends the truth and Kevin is a straight out someone that cannot be trusted.
Is there a future for you and Jordan outside the BB house?
It’s hard to have a relationship on that show, in that house. I definitely want to maintain a close friendship with Jordan outside of the house and if something evolves from there, great. If it doesn’t, I don’t want to jeopardize the friendship that we have.
Who is going on your Hawaiian vacation with you?
Hawaii is still a question mark for me. Let’s just say that Jordan is on a very short list.
Evicted Orange County housewife, Lynne Curtin, is now being accused of looting. Evidently Lynne was not only renting her home, but also some of the furniture in it. Lynne and her family moved out of their evicted home days ago.
The actual homeowner/landlord claims the Curtins stole a bookcase, credenza, armoire and a glass shelf — worth around $5,000 — and reported the alleged thievery to Laguna Beach Police Department Friday.
The homeowner also alleges the home’s carpet was trashed, there were holes in the walls and the travertine tub was damaged.
In a statement to TMZ, the homeowner says, “I am blown away that grown people can behave this way. They have daughters, how can they seriously think they are setting an example.”
TMZ is also reporting that this isn’t the first time the Real Housewives of Orange County star and her family have been evicted. Documents were dug up from 2003 that shows the Curtins were kicked out of a home for owing that homeowner: $9,104, an amount they allegedly never paid.
Real Housewives of New York City Star, Bethenny Frankel, is making a statement by posing nude in the latest PETA “I’d rather go naked than wear fur” ad campaign. TV Guide Magazine was present at the racy photo shoot on a Manhattan rooftop.
In the new interview with TV Guide Magazine, Bethenny speaks out about posing nude for PETA, her new bestseller, love life and dishes out on the Real housewives series.
Below are excerpts from this interview-
You’re brave! How does it feel to take it all off?
Oh, I’m really excited. I think it’s a really amazing cause. It’s very simple to say to people, “You get to make a choice, and you can choose not to wear fur. It’s such a frivolous thing to do, and I used to do it. I wasn’t a crazy fur-wearer, certainly—I couldn’t afford it and I’m not that outlandish—but it really is so superfluous.
How’d you get involved with PETA, anyway?
I’m a huge animal lover, so it’s been a very organic process. I’m not on the top of any soapbox, but I think this is just a really interesting thing, and they came to me. They [noticed] that I’d gotten a lot of exposure lately—pun intended, because that’s nothing like the exposure I’m getting today. I guess they trust that I’ll be able to carry the message.
Do you have any pets of your own?
I have a dog, Cookie—she’s a lhasa mix, a mutt.
Your book, Naturally Thin, has been a big hit. Does that mean that people are constantly checking out what you’re eating?
Yes! I had a bowl of pasta, and it showed up on blogs. But my entire mantra is that there’s no food that’s forbidden; taste everything, eat nothing. And people have been watching me eat a lot more lately because for 52 weeks, I’m doing a food crawl for my Twitter followers. Last Monday was the lobster roll crawl, this week it’s a gelato crawl, next week it’s a French fry call. I’m going to be at McDonald’s!
What’s your take on the current season of your sister show, the Real Housewives of Atlanta?
I call it the Real Housewivez [sic] of the Hood. They’re all very much into, “Are you a gangster, are you a hood”…asking [questions] about whether you came from money or didn’t come from money. I don’t think anybody’s confusing them from being in the Great Gatsby…and who cares anyway? I think on the first season, they all wanted to prove how wealthy they are, and how they have a staff and stylists. There are two events a year in Atlanta—I don’t know why they need stylists, assistants and hair people. And this season, I think they’re trying to go backwards a little and be like, “This is where I came from.” They’re having a financial identity crisis.
Is that your favorite of the other Housewives franchises?
Atlanta’s my favorite…my show included.
The ninth season of American Idol will premiere in January 2010 without Paula Abdul. American Idol isn’t the same without Paula Abdul, says Simon Cowell.
Simon, 49, tells Extra the show is now “different. It’s like comparing a carrot to a banana… They are different.”
On the ninth season, judges Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi return – along with celebrity guest judges, including Victoria Beckham, Shania Twain, Mary J. Blige and Katy Perry.
Simon says, he doesn’t want to “get in the middle” of Idol execs and Paula but definitely misses her being on the show. He also believes Paula will always be able to find work.
So what’s next for Paula?
“I definitely want to do a talk show because it would be different,” says Abdul, who has shot a guest role on Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva and will host VH1′s Divas Live Sept. 17. “It would be a lot of fun variety with a ton of unexpected stuff and tributes to everyday people getting their big chance.”
In the clip, Page is seen telling a(n) extremely really corny joke to Sheree while equally corny music and sound effects play in the background.
TMZ reports in the lawsuit, which was filed last week in State Court in Chicago, Page claims he never gave permission to Bravo to show his face on TV — and was assured by producers that he would be edited out of the show.
Page is suing Bravo and NBC for at least $50,000 for infringing on his Right of Publicity and for causing him “emotional distress.”
Something tells me this lawsuit will not go very far. Reality shows in general, especially the really popular ones such as the Housewives’ series, are notorious for getting release forms signed from any and everyone, before they can show their faces on TV.
They even make sure they get release forms signed from random people in the background of scenes. We should be hearing news that this lawsuit has been dismissed any minute from now.
