Newyork is back! The new reality show, “Newyork Goes To Work” premiered on VH1 on May 4th. Tiffany Pollard alias “Newyork” is somewhat crazy but i guess that’s what keeps the viewers returning to VH1 wanting more. Intrestingly the show has received mixed reviews from viewers. Some have called it annoying while the die hard newyork fans love the show. But can you blame Tiffany Pollard for wanting to milk her fifteen minutes of fame?
So the whole premise of the show is that fans vote for the job of the week for Newyork. If she is able to complete the task successfully she earns $10,000 and failure to to succeed, she gets nothing.
This week, she was chosen to be a pig farmer and perform some nasty task including inseminating a pig. According to the farmers, she successful won the $10,000. Personally, this doesn’t interest me but i will keep watching and keep you all posted. Hopefully this show will get better but at the moment i am not feeling it!
Where is the drama that we enjoy and look forward to? What do you all think about the show? Can’t wait to read your comments.
Melissa Rycroft, 26 years old has worn many hats including sales representative, former cowboys cheerleader, DWTS contestants, Bachelor contestant and winner though this is questionable. In addition, Melissa was named people magazine list of world’s most beautiful people of 2009. Way to go girl!
So is Melissa ready for playboy? Rumors have it that Melissa will be featured in playboy after DWTS. Melissa tells USmagazine.com that being in playboy will not be happening and besides her father will kill her.
Sorry guys this rumor is false, however i can tell you that after DWTS you’ve not seen the last of Melissa. At the moment, Melissa’s focus is winning DWTS so she working hard as the finale approaches. Melissa also enjoys working with Tony her partner in DWTS.
Rycroft, who was famously dumped by BachelorJason Mesnick on national TV, says she is just delighted on how far she’s come. Rycroft is currently in a relationship with Tye Strickland and they both seem to be happy.
After DWTS, Melissa plans to go on vacation with no access to her cell phone, radio or TV. Overall. Melissa seems to be happy in her life and present situation.
Carrie Underwood, winner of season five American Idol will be performing at the finale between Kris Allen and Adam Lambert. Underwood will be returning to the stage where it all started just a few years ago. Underwood has won four grammies and is not slowing down anytime soon. In addition, she has graced the cover of several magazine. Her representatives say, she will be singing this year’s farewell song, a cover of Motley Crue’s metal ballad “Home Sweet Home,” . Proceeds from the digital single to benefit the humane society of the United States for abused and abandoned animals. In march, Underwood made a guest appearance with country star and idol, Randy Travis. Both stars performed that night wooing the audience.
In the 8th season of American Idol, Adam Lambert faces off against Kris Allen. What’s really exciting is that both artist are unique and have different music styles. Most people seems to think that Lambert will out sing Allen. What do you think, we wanted to hear from you? I know Idol lovers can’t wait to witness who will be the next American idol? Stay tuned next week.
Part 2 of the Reunion of The Real Housewives of New York aired last night, and Ramona seemed to be on the end of a lot of the insults being leveled by the other housewives. Along with Kelly who refuses to step of out of Kelly planet ofcourse. Ramona talked to People about the reunion show, and her feelings on being attacked by her castmates. -
How do you feel the reunion special went?
I really felt that I was attacked. On the opposite couch you had Jill [Zarin], Bethenny and LuAnn. I sat down and go, ‘This setup isn’t good,’ because with every question that was asked of me, the three of them were pouncing on me. They were attacking me. Why am I being attacked for being myself? I don’t try to be someone I’m not, like some of the other people. I am who I am and I tell the truth. Maybe sometimes I’m a little unedited. I don’t mean to hurt anyone’s feelings. I don’t do anything with malicious intent.
You and LuAnn rehashed your spat this season. Why do you think she was so upset about what you said? And do you regret it?
Maybe she’s upset she married an older man. Maybe at that point her marriage wasn’t going well and she wanted a younger man. The point is she attacked me for all the wrong reasons. We all knew when we were filming the second season — and we even knew the first season — her marriage had problems and she was living a double life and so was her husband. And then to sit there and tell me she married her soul mate? She didn’t marry her soul mate otherwise they’d still be married.
Can you explain what you wrote about Bethenny on your blog?
I happen to like Bethenny, okay? [But] the truth is she is still single at 37 and there’s a reason she’s still single: She doesn’t know how to date men who are proper marriage material. She doesn’t date for marriage.
Kelly also took a lot of heat this season. What were your impressions about her joining the cast?
In all sincerity, I didn’t enjoy filming with Kelly. There’s just nothing there. There’s something missing. You know what I’m saying? I’d rather film with Alex and Simon. I get more spice out of Simon and Alex.
After all the drama on Tuesday, are you still on speaking terms with your castmates?
I saw Jill a couple of times since then and that’s okay. I saw LuAnn and that’s okay. Bethenny, I haven’t seen since. Alex, I don’t really have a relationship with nor do I have [one with] Kelly. It was definitely an intense day. It was very heated. And you know what? It is what it is.
As we reported earlier, Laguna Hill alumni and nemesis of Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari is set to replace her on The Hills. Well it has now been officially confirmed. The 22-year old’s first appearance will be the May 31st season finale (she catches the bouquet at Heidi and Spencer’s wedding, natch), she is then set to appear in 10 episodes this fall.
Kristin says she is fully prepared to stir things up. “It’s a TV show,” she explains. “I’m not going into it like, ‘I’m going to make great friendships with these people.’ It’s work! And drama sells. I think that’s why they’re bringing me in, because I know what works.” Cavallari had plenty more to reveal in her exclusive interview with EW.
On why she’s coming back to reality TV:
“The goal for me is to get my fans excited about me again. When I first started out, I had a celebrity name but I didn’t have the acting skills I have now. If I have some buzz with my name again, I feel like it will only help.”
On rumors that producers are plotting a romance between her and Justin Bobby (which The Hills producers deny):
“I have no idea! [laughs] I don’t think MTV would be like, ‘Oh you’re dating him now. This is your boyfriend.’ But they might try and set up situations. I’m totally cool with that. Again, it’s a TV show and they need to make it entertaining.”
On how her version of TheHills will differ from Lauren’s:
“I’m a completely different person than Lauren. I have a lot more energy. I’m more outgoing. I’m a little more spontaneous. And she has a boyfriend so she’s not dating on the show. I’m very open to dating and finding a guy.”
On introducing Heidi and Spencer:
“It’s so funny. I guess it was 4 years ago. I was dating Brody [Jenner] and Spencer was Brody’s best friend. I had known Heidi when she was friends with Lauren when we were still filming Laguna Beach. Heidi was like, ‘Hook me up with someone. I wanna meet a guy.’ And Brody and I were kinda like, ‘Well, maybe Spencer?’ We’ll see what happens.’ So we all went on a double date and they just hit it off right away and now they’re married.”
So it’s safe to draw from this interview that the Hills is now completely fake, and the producers pretty much write all the story lines.
Jon and Kate Gosselin‘s marriage is over according to Kate’s brother, Kevin Krieder. Kevin says in an explosive new interview with RadarOnline that Kate shows more interest in her fame as a TV personality, speaker and author than she does as a mother, her brother and sister-in-law.
The 32-year-old brother of the reality TV mom, said that his sister has a selfish agenda focused more on boosting her career than her family. He said that the show’s depiction of Kate as a do-it-all mother who cooks and cleans is “all for the cameras,” and the reality TV couple’s claim that they are raising their family all by themselves is a “snow job.”
Krieder also claims that Jon fears his wife of nearly 10 years was having an affair with her married bodyguard, Steve Neild, as we reported earlier. (Kate confessed she and Jon might split in a new interview with People, in the same interview she says she is “horrified” by any allegations suggesting she and Neild are romantically involved; TLC refused comment.)
Kevin continues on saying, “Jon came to our door one day and told [Krieder's wife] Jodi he suspects it’s Steve the bodyguard, and he feels that he’s getting the bad rap,” Krieder says. “He feels that Kate’s not being faithful either.” Nothing nicer than your own family member throwing you under the bus, Kate must feel super about her brother’s comments to the press.
ABC”s newest Bachelorette Jillian Harris needs to drum up some publicity for her upcoming show so she’s decided what better way to do that than to publicly root for ex-bachelor star Melissa Rycroft. They both were unlucky in their search for love with Jason Mesnick.
Melissa has made her way to the final 3 on Dancing With The Stars and Jillian makes it clear she is Team Melissa all the way. “We are such huge supporters of each other,” Harris tells of Melissa, with whom she “became really good friends on The Bachelor.” “I’m so proud of her. I wish I could watch her but I’m so busy with [The Bachelorette]. But I’m rooting for Melissa.”
The feeling is very mutual according to Melissa, who thinks Jillian will make a great Bachelorette, “She’s probably one of the most genuine and down-to-earth girls that I know. I absolutely adore her.” The new season of The Bachelorette premieres May 18 on ABC.
