The legal battle between Kim Kardashian and insta-ex husband Kris Humphries rages on. In the latest development, Kris’s lawyers asked for more time to pursue evidence that the whole marriage was a publicity stunt. If the pair doesn’t reach a resolution, the case could go to trial, which could bust open the Kardashian facade. Kim’s lawyer Laura Wasser says Kris is extending the case needlessly, saying “I feel that (Humphries’) personal feelings and maybe some media drive is keeping this case alive.”
Kim’s team said in court last week that if the case is decided in her favor, she will demand that Kris pay her legal fees. The lawyers will return to court on August 15.
Clearly having a better marriage is sister Khloe Kardashian, who has had to deal with pregnancy rumors as of late after she and husband Lamar Odom decided to walk away from their reality show Khloe and Lamar. What may put a stop to those rumors is her recent 20 pound weight loss. Her trainer tells Life and Style her method:
“She eats mostly fresh fruits and vegetables, with small amounts of lean proteins like fish and chicken. She trains like an athlete when she’s with us, even doing weight training. We also run the canyons surrounding their house. Plus she does pilates and stair-running on her own.”
Sounds dreadful! Mama Kris Jenner tells the magazine that the couple is “SO happy” now they no longer have a pesky reality show to worry about. A recent photo posted to Twitter shows a slimmer, glowing Khloe:
Even though we’re pretty sure no one actually watched The Pauly D Project, apparently someone did because Pauly’s road manager, Biggie, has decided to take off on his own. Wetpaint reports that since appearing on the show, Biggie has received many DJing offers of his own and has decided to stop living his dreams through Pauly and pursue his own career. But, no worries, the pair are still BFFs. The other members of Pauly’s crew, JROC, Ryan and Jerry show no signs of leaving the fold.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hillshave started filming their third season, and all kinds of news and sources are leaking out of the bejeweled franchise. We’ll start with the officially sanctioned happy positive sunshine news, which is that Kyle Richards is opening up a clothing store in Beverly Hills. In a statement that could only have been crafted by a PR person, Kyle tells US Magazine that “As someone who values great fashion, I know how difficult it is to find the newest looks and hottest accessories you want all under one roof.”
So, Kyle began her store as a humanitarian effort. What she should have opened was a hair salon, since that’s what she’s known for. But instead, she decided to sink her cash into another overpriced boutique. Other friends apparently think Kyle is also foolish, but in other ways. They’ve dialed up their old buddies at Radar Online and told them how Kyle is acting like a diva. I’m personally not surprised, but her “real friends” are shocked at the new, famous Kyle.
The group of people who inexplicably watch Khloe Kardashian‘s spinoff, Khloe and Lamar, were dealt a blow this week when rumors surfaced that the pair had told E! they would no longer film their show. Lamar Odom, who has had troubles with his basketball career this year, allegedly wanted to focus on his career rather than continue to participate in the reality television empire his mother-in-law is head of.
Well, a “source” close to the situation tells Radar Online that this isn’t true. Lamar has always wanted to do a show and Khloe was just the easy way in:
If you’d like to resemble the above photo, the book tells you to eliminate “sugar, oil, alcohol, salt, caffeine and nuts” and to chew gum. Kelly also advises to chew “8 times instead of 4.” In other words, the same old dieting advice you have heard about 5 million times before with a little extra psychosis just for fun. Other groundbreaking dieting advice is drink 8 to 10 glasses of water, get enough sleep and exercise daily.
The Bad Girls Club reunion last night made me embarrassed to be a member of the human race.
Hosted by the most famous Bad Girl alum, Tanisha Thomas, we didn’t learn anything new or accomplish anything on this reunion. Or, if anything got said, it was totally lost because the girls could not stop fighting. Real Housewives reunions at least have a debriefing feel to them, especially as Andy Cohen plays back well-produced montages of the season. In contrast, this reunion only served to provoke the girls to fight more, about shit that was totally meaningless. To make matters worse, it’s filmed in front of a snickering studio audience. And one thing all the bad girls have is an overwhelming insecurity.
They brought out all of the girls from this season, including Jennaand Christine, two cast members I’d completely forgotten about. They also brought out the sponge bob twins, Gabi and Dani, who hilariously called themselves the “stars” of this season since they participated in the “biggest bad girls club fight in history.” There’s something to take off your bucket list! Participated in violent, televised fight before expressing deep yearning for a Chipotle burrito!
Last night, Donald Trumptold the remaining six victims on Celebrity Apprenticethat they all looked sick and tired. And, he’s right. I’m sick and tired, too. The marathon pace of the show is starting to visibly take its toll on the contestants. Or maybe the editing monkeys exaggerated everyone’s behavior. Whatever it was, after tonight’s elimination, there will only be one way to go, and that’s for everyone to turn on each other.
The challenge this week was to create a jingle for Good Sam, an emergency roadside assistance firm with a retro-esque mascot. What a shame that both our musically inclined “celebrities” were project managers last week. This week, Aubrey O’Day and Clay Aiken really could have shone, but instead Dayana Mendoza decided to PM, with Arsenio Hall managing Unanimous. Or, the reality, Aubrey took over the creative direction of the team while Arsenio’s true project management task was managing Aubrey.
It’s about to get real for Mob Wives star Renee Graziano. Her ex, Junior Pagan, who was recently outed for wearing a wire during the VH1 taping of his ex wife’s reality show, may have to testify in a mob trial next month.
The New York Post reports that prosecutors are “reluctant” to have him testify, they’ve been using the information he’s provided to work out plea agreements. Junior has taped conversations with at least six notable mafiosos, including Renee’s dad. Since the news of Junior’s arrangement with the government leaked, he hasn’t been spotted on Staten Island, but can still be seen on the current second season airing on VH1.
