One of life’s biggest mysteries is just how much reality stars get paid. How much is your image and reputation worth? According to Media TakeOut‘s last delve into the world of Real Housewives of Atlanta, selling your likeness to Bravo in perpetuity through out the universe is actually profitable. Since this is MTO and their “source” could be nothing more than an anonymous email account, we’ll take this info with a huge grain of salt. And speculate anyway, because it’s so fun!
Per MTO, below is the list of salaries for our Atlanta peaches. If true, Nene Leakes is at best “moderately rich” and not “very rich.”

Last night’s Celebrity Apprentice opened up on Awkardville, aka the terrified remaining team members with a ranting Arsenio Hall. Everyone looked like they wanted to avoid Arsenio’s gaze. Everyone except for Lisa Lampanelli, who finally found an outfit that looked flattering (It’s 2012. There are amazing plus size options everywhere. Look into them!). Hilariously, the self-proclaimed insult comic had a problem with Arsenio’s choice of insults for Aubrey O’Day. She yelled at Arsenio that he was about to ruin his image and career and that “every woman in America would hate him” after watching his tirade.
In his talking head, Arsenio recognized how ridiculous it was that Lisa of all people should be upset with his word choice, but on the other hand, Arsenio’s anger towards Aubrey seemed way out of line. In the war room, the team decides that from now on, the team follow Teresa’s lead to avoid future problems. Who woulda thought, Teresa Giudice would be the sanest person in a room? Lou Ferrigno and Dayana Mendoza come in from the boardroom and Lisa once again, does nothing to hide her disgust. She tells Penn Jillette that from now on, the two of them will be carrying their team. She’s not exactly wrong there.
The product placement this week is for entertainment.com, a company that no one can seem to refer to with a straight face. The teams have to produce 60-second commercials for the company. Dayana steps up as project manager for Forte and Teresa decides to manage Unanimous. Aubrey makes her return and she and Arsenio have something resembling an adult discussion, and Arsenio even comes close to apologizing, blaming his emotion on the charity work, both for his old friend Magic Johnson and his “cousin from Cleveland” who recently died of AIDS. They both agree to move on.
While a part of me is rooting for Aubrey, it was a huge letdown to see her make fun of Teresa in her talking head spots, especially after Teresa saved her in the last boardroom. Everyone knows Teresa should have brought Aubrey in, and didn’t due to their friendship/alliance, so watching Aubrey take down Teresa was too much. It just confirms what Arsenio said: it’s Aubrey’s world, and it’s all “I, I, I.” Unanimous ends up having a very peaceful week working, and they even blame Arsenio’s outburst for getting all the anger out into the open, but moving past it. This is just to grown-up for me!
Rumor has it that Sheree Whitfield, one of the original Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members, has been fired! Media TakeOut (or Media FakeOut as some call it) were the first to report the news, with other blogs falling in line – including Vibe Magazine! As usual, Bravo and Sheree herself have remained silent.
Media TakeOut reports that Bravo flew Sheree out to New York for the Bravo Upfronts (where the network parades its stars around and shows off their new lineup for advertisers, a very important event) and supposedly fired her in person. MTO writes:
“And we’re told that Sheree didn’t take it too well. You see, the producers FLEW HER OUT to NY, with the other castmembers to take part in the BRAVO UPFRONT PARTY, in NYC. But before the event, Bravo told her that she was fired. And word is that Sheree BURST INTO TEARS and started BEGGING to keep her job, saying that she NEEDED THE MONEY and everything.
Oh, but DON’T expect a confirmation from ANYONE until AFTER this seasons reunion show. Even though EVERYONE knows, they have a CONFIDENTIALITY CLAUSE which prevents them from discussing it. (So if Sheree wants her last few checks, she’s gonna keep her lips ZIPPED too).”
Here is where I have trouble believing this story. Why would Bravo pay to bring Sheree up to New York, get her a hotel room, fire her, and then still expect her to attend the events? It doesn’t make any sense.
On her Twitter, Sheree posted that she was on vacation, “I’ve been on a week long vacation with my children in the Caribbean. Back to Atlanta in a couple of days.” It’s incredibly odd that not only was Sheree on vacation during the Upfronts, but Teresa Giudice and Kim Zolciak were also on spring break as well. Although, the night of the event Andy Cohentweeted an older photo of him with Teresa, saying that he missed her! A photo of Sheree on vacation is below.
Even Straight From The A, a usually solid source of Atlanta gossip, is speculating publicly on Sheree’s status. She says that her sources told her Sheree “would be Lisa Wu’d next season (i.e. would appear at the start of the season, but would slowly disappear as the season went on). But now the talk is that Bravo already sent her packing.”
That might be a bit more credible; that she would be phased out like other fired housewives, as opposed to being fired. Sheree’s storyline has always been flimsy at best. She By Sheree was always a vanity project/joke, and the Bob Whitfield child support plotline from this past season was also clearly a farce. Sheree has always been a supporting player.
Sister2Sister Magazine is reporting that Sheree’s firing was related to a salary dispute – and because she alienated many of her co-stars, including NeNe Leakes! According to their sources, NeNe earns a whopping $750k per season to stir up the drama. Then she is pretty rich, indeed! While it’s not sure how much Sheree earns, it’s certainly much less. Reportedly, Sheree, who has also been on the show since the first season, asked for a salary increase and Bravo denied her!
“The way Bravo operates is that they don’t tell you [anything]. So, I don’t know. I heard people talking about it, but until one of the producers tells me, I don’t know it for a fact,” the insider clarifies. Adding, “If she’s dropped … she’s in a f_cked up place right now.”
Sheree tried to prove her worth this season by stirring up drama over the cast trip to Africa, but Bravo apparently wasn’t interested (and neither are the viewers!). Allegedly, She by Shebroke is very concerned about her future with the series, as she really hasn’t profited from her appearance on the show! Anyone else want to know what became of that exercise video she was supposedly working on?
“Once it’s over, you gotta have money coming in,” said the source. “She had four years to be on [‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’]. She couldn’t come up with something? She didn’t put no money away?;” the source wonders.
VIBE Vixen has a theory that Sheree was fired to make room for Marlo Hampton, but it’s already been made very clear that Marlo isn’t returning to the show. In an interview with Wetpaint about Marlo’s drama antics during the reunion, Kandi Burruss says, “I think she was trying to get a job and stay on Housewives because right now, she’s NOT a housewife. But it doesn’t look like she accomplished anything because she’s still not a housewife, and I don’t think she ever will be.” Way harsh, Kandi! But most likely true.
Whether or not she’ll return for season five, we still have a bit more Sheree to watch on tonight’s season four finale for Real Housewives of Atlanta. It’s almost the end of what seemed like an endless season. Below is a preview of tonight’s episode, featuring Kandi unveiling a product from her Bedroom Kandi line! Will our favorite male stripper re-appear at Kandi’s launch party? We’ll have to watch and see.
Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Season Finale airs tonight at 9/10c on Bravo!

If you’re anything like me, you’ve been riveted by news of the greatest love story of our time, the relationship between rapperKanye West and professional celebrity Kim Kardashian. This relationship/orchestrated PR effort has many parts to it, and it all ends in the release of Kanye’s new song “Theraflu.” That reminds me, please be on the lookout for my new single, soon to be released on Famewhore Records, titled “NyQuil.”
Gossip fans know that Kim and Kanye’s true love is not a new thing. Kanye’s ex Amber Rose had blabbed about the pair’s dalliances for quite a while now; she claimed that Kim was cheating with Kanye while dating Reggie Bush and Kanye cheated while dating Amber. Now that Kim is single again, the two have re-ignited their old passions, beginning a romantic few days in New York with a screening of The Hunger Games. Nothing says date night like watching teenagers kill each other. As a huge Hunger Games fan, I think Kim and Kanye would live in a special district just for famewhores!
That led to Kim staying over at Kanye’s place, and in a move that was totally not staged for paparazzi, leaving his house in the same clothes she was wearing the night before. That’s right, Kim was doing a walk of shame! We are supposed to believe a highly public figure like Kim, who changes outfits 10 times a day, would show up at Kanye’s without her glam squad on call for a wardrobe change? Interesting. Another article on Radar Online, who will probably submit their articles on this for a Pulitzer prize, stated that Kim had the foresight to change her blouse and put a blazer on. What a relief.
The famous pair was also spotted having lunch at Serafina in New York and shopping at FAO Schwartz, the famous toy store.
Now that Kim is single, her new angle in interviews is that she’s a free spirit who believes in multiple soul mates. In an interview with Cosmopolitan UK, Kim says: “I think you have different soulmates throughout your life…I will always believe in love, but my idea has changed from what I’ve always thought…I don’t believe in just one soulmate now.” She believes the path to true love is to date as many wealthy celebrities as possible! At least she’s diversifying from athletes and going back to the music industry for her dating pool.
In the same interview, Kim also hilariously claims that all the scrutiny her family has endured through the years (a circumstance of their own making!) has made her “more private.”
“We know that we put ourselves in the public eye. We love doing our reality show and it’s opened doors for us to have clothing lines…and do things that we’ve always dreamed of. So it comes with the territory and we know that. But as I get older and go through certain things, it’s made me want to be more of a private person.”
LOL! I wonder if she said that with a straight face. She wants to be so private she’s totally okay with Kanye name-dropping her in his latest song “Theraflu.” A totally private person would totally agree to these lyrics:
“And I’ll admit, I had fell in love with Kim / Around the time she had fell in love with him / Well that’s cool, baby girl, do your thing / Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team”
For those of you who don’t know, “Jay” refers to Jay-Z, who is one of the owners the New Jersey Nets, the team Kim’s ex Kris Humphries plays for.
One person who is allegedly thrilled with this new development, is Kim’s sister Khloe Kardashian. And why wouldn’t she, since this whole mess keeps her family’s name in the tabloids. Don’t you realize that if the Kardashians don’t get attention they wither and die? They are like famewhore flowers. An anonymous source tells Hollywood Life that Khloe thinks Kanye “is a real catch. He’s creative and really fun to be around.”
Apparently, Khloe is star struck! The source says, “I think Khloe is a bit taken with the fact that he is so famous — but then again, this is one of the reasons Kim likes him so much. The whole celebrity thing really appeals to her.”
Then again, the source says Khloe may like Kanye because he’s not Kris. “Khloe thought Kris was too boring and mundane for Kim. Plus, Khloe thinks they would have gorgeous babies.”
I’m starting to think this relationship is only happening because Kanye has a name that starts with “K.”

TELL US: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF KIM AND KANYE? DO YOU THINK THIS IS A PUBLICITY STUNT?
Teresa Giudice finally gave Donald Trump the sparks he was asking for when she got into it with Debbie Gibson on last Sunday’s Celebrity Apprentice. She even decided to insult Debbie’s choice of wardrobe for the occasion like there was some kind of dress code. In an interview with Zap2It, Debbie insists she was happy to be done with the show: “Once the potshots started, I was glad [to leave]. I can take constructive and professional criticism.”
Wait, so “your tits are hanging out” isn’t professional criticism? That explains a lot. What’s even more interesting is Debbie’s revelation that, post show, she found out she had actually fund-raised more money for the guidebook challenge than chopping block-mate Dayana Mendoza. That makes the inclusion of Aubrey O’Day, who raised less money than both of them, even more suspect. But we all know Dayana’s money is worth more to Donald because it came from Dayana’s model friends. If there’s one thing that man likes, it’s to look at, and discuss tall, thin women. It’s not hard to do the math here.
But, in Dayana’s defense, Debbie has this to say: “I don’t think she was the hardest worker or the most creative, but she certainly wasn’t a problem. They were calling her distracting, and I thought it was all a bit contrived.”
Does Debbie’s former ally Lisa Lampanelli know that Debbie was quoted saying something positive about Lisa’s Venezuelan nemesis? Is Debbie a new target for Lisa’s humor?
In another interview on Debbie’s post-firing tour, she tells The Deadbolt that she still doesn’t understand why Teresa was so angry with her in the boardroom. “Teresa never delegated anything to do with the visuals for the kiosk for where we were selling the book. She never delegated it. It wasn’t my job to wonder who she delegated that to.” I felt the same way when watching the episode. When Debbie brought up the kiosk to Teresa in the war room, Teresa looked at Debbie like she had four heads. The kiosk was kinda essential to their task and should have been a priority.
In response, Teresa blames the editing and says, “I’m the one who actually thought about that at some point later in the day and that translated to I was setting her up. If I was setting her up, I wouldn’t have brought it up at all and we would’ve shown up and had an undecorated kiosk.” Actually, if they’d had a bad kiosk, Trump would have taken that as poor management, not the under-handed strategy Teresa thinks. She would have been fired.
In the end, Debbie thinks she was let go for the very original reason of “jealousy.”I don’t really get it. I just think she wanted me gone. Maybe she was threatened at that point because I was a strong player. I don’t really know what her deal was.”
In other Teresa news, Real Housewives of New Jersey’s fourth season is just around the corner! So, it’s time for the ladies to do their media blitz. While watching the preview, it’s clear that Teresa will continue to be the odd man out, a complete turn around from the beginning of the series. In an interview with Star, Teresa shares how the show has destroyed her relationship with Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo.
“Jacqueline and I had a wonderful relationship for about 10 years. We were great friends, but not anymore. It’s so sad. We actually went through a ‘friends divorce,’ which is so hard. Then, Jacqueline basically attacked me on the show about a magazine article that said I was going to jail. She was upset that she hadn’t heard it directly from me, but I wasn’t going to jail … the whole thing was so ridiculous.”
She says both Jaq and Caroline “take everything that is small, and turn it into something serious.” Like an innocent joke in a cookbook. Loosen up Manzo-Lauritas!
Teresa also has choice words for her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, saying “I felt deceived.” It’s not hard to see why, when it’s clear that Melissa was cast to not only bring the real tension they’d been experiencing for years onto the show, but also to create more drama. That Christening episode last season is still one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever seen on television. And as you all know, I recap Bad Girls Club! But the issues between the Gorgas and Giudices are so deep and so ugly, and I can understand why Teresa would be upset.
Sadly, she reveals she’s estranged from her brother Joe. “I haven’t spoken to my brother since before Christmas. We haven’t gone this long without talking in my whole life! I’d have to say that reality TV ruined our family, and it’s a disgrace.”
DO YOU THINK DEBBIE WAS FIRED UNFAIRLY FROM CELEBRITY APPRENTICE? DO YOU THINK REALITY TELEVISION RUINED TERESA’S FAMILY?
While the ladies of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills are deep into the pre-season casting charade they all do before contracts get signed, some very interesting news has leaked about former villain and now “laid-off” housewife Camille Grammer.
As said on the reunion, Camille has been very happily dating a younger man, Dimitri Charalambopoulos, who had yet to make it on-screen. A taped video deposition of Dimitri posted to Radar Online may give us a clue why he was so camera-shy. Like every other housewife boyfriend, Dimitri has baby mamma drama. In the following video, Dimitri is being deposed by his girlfriend Lisa Chynoweth‘s lawyers in Dallas. Lisa apparently wants to move her son to Colorado.

Oh, this show. Why are these ladies so angry? They live in a mansion and get paid to party and spend eight hours a day doing their makeup. And yet, everything makes them so upset. On last night’s Bad Girls Club, the reactions to Spongebob Twin replacements Camillaand Christine covered a whole range of emotions until it culminated into yet another pointless physical attack. When will they realize psychological torture is far more effective?
In any case, you can’t feel too bad for the new girls. At eight seasons, they–like Top Chef contestants who cry at the mention of having to make a pound cake–should know what to expect. Both girls predictably acted confident and cocky in their intro talking heads, and appear to get along when they first meet each other for a drink, but that solidarity ends up being very short lived. Both girls walk into the house, cheery and excited, Christine clutching a bottle of whatever cheap champagne was on sale that day, and the rest of the girls remain firmly planted in bed.
It becomes obvious that Christine will be the odd bad girl out. She’s too drunk, too enthusiastic, and too eager to please. Now, the producers probably told the new girls to act that way to provoke the remaining tired, bitchy cast members, but Christine really took it to the next level. She really shows herself when, upon hearing Erica is from “Atlanta New York,” she says “I didn’t know there was an Atlanta in New York.” Erica huffily responds that she is from New York, but lives in Atlanta like we are all supposed to decode her ginger language, which apparently doesn’t use complete sentences.
The two new girls head out to the Blue Martini–this show’s version of Jersey Shore’s Karma–and Christine keeps drinking. This is where Camilla realizes that Christine can’t hold her booze and will probably not be a good ally in the house. The first test the bad girls have set up for the new girls is what they will do about the bed situation. There is only one bed left, previously shared by Gabi and Dani, and Erica says they are watching them to see if they will fight over the bed or if they will just share. And of course, they share. They get home from the bar and Camilla dumps Christine’s falling over drunk ass.
The next day, Christine, still dressed in her tight dress from the night before, calls home and announces she’s ready to leave. Well, that didn’t take long. She’s convinced to stay one more day and finds comfort with Amy, who tells her not to let anyone else in the house see her cry.
Over on the B-plot, Gia notices her special friend DJ Matt is being, in her words, a “Twitter ho.” Unlike a lot of these kinds of reality shows, they do let the girls use email, and apparently, read social media, but as Gia said, they just can’t use them while they are in the house. Interesting! Anyway, she decides she’s over Matt and wants some a new toy. She, Erica, and Amy go out to eat at some product-placed burger chain in a strip mall, and just so happen to run into producer, Jazz Lazer, who just happens to know Gia’s name! That’s such a coincidence.
Last night’s Celebrity Apprentice was so long and intense, I feel like I need therapy just to process all the emotions I now feel. At least the three hours finally made the show interesting.
In case you already forgot, Patricia Velasquez was the one to go last week for her failure with the branding at the Crystal Light event. Dayana Mendoza is sad to have her one ally leave. I loved that moment last week when Patricia told Dayana it was going to be okay in Spanish while they were both waiting to be called in with Donald.
At this point, Dayana is like this show’s Highlander. She refuses to die, no matter how badly Lisa Lampanelli wants her to go. Throughout this whole episode, Lisa is like a dog with a bone. She refuses to see any of Dayana’s positive qualities. It makes it so hard to root for Lisa when she just looks like a jealous hater.
Last night’s show featured two tasks: the first featured the teams making and selling celebrity guidebooks to New York, using a Toshiba tablet, or as I like to call it, not an iPad. The second task was for each team to create a 15 minute presentation and boxes on Walgreen’s new walking initiative.
We got new project managers for the first task: Teresa Giudice was project manager for the guidebook task and Dee Snider was task manager for the men’s team. Both of them were pretty hands-off. If there were any sources of drama for this episode, it once again came from Lisa and Aubrey. If Lisa is hard to root for due to her almost senseless rage towards Dayana, Aubrey became downright evil, especially during the second task when she butted heads against her new teammate Arsenio Hall.
But, back to the first task. Debbie Gibson was the sacrificed celebrity during the first task. Teresa’s one conflict as project manager was with Debbie, who rightly asked for direction on the women’s kiosk. At the boardroom, Teresa and Debbie got into it, with Teresa defending herself by saying that at this point, the team should know what to do with minimal direction. She has a point, but it did really seem like Teresa forgot they needed to design a kiosk to sell the guidebooks.
On the men’s team, it was sad to see Arsenio try to fund raise, but get ignored by his former celebrity friends. His friend and NBC pet Jay Leno promises to FedEx Arsenio a check. Both teams actually make it rain pretty hard with their fund-raising, Teresa has Juicy Joe come by the kiosk with donations from their friends. Does anyone think Melissa Gorga donated to Teresa’s efforts?
Anyway, in the boardroom, Debbie is fired and she’s visibly pissed off. The world’s most famous elevator attendant even smirks as Debbie storms off after she’s fired. The fact that Debbie was fired and Aubrey (who fundraised the least amount of money) was kept, feels really producer-driven to me. If the task was about who made the most money, then clearly Aubrey should have left, based purely on numbers. But, she and Dayana live to see another day.
