On last night’s episodes of Celebrity Apprentice there was Housewives drama! Brandi Glanville started her whining victim act, and Kenya Moore temporarily was able to be the cream that rises to the top. However – we know that’s all short-lived and I fully stand by my opinion that Kenya and Brandi are birds of a feather who hate together.
As always, this recap will contain spoilers, so do not read on if you don’t want to know who got fired.
Sometimes when I write these recaps I wish I had more time to ponder the happenings. I get myopic vision and tunnel in on certain ideas, then I read or see something else and it’s like: aha! How did I miss that? But alas, the world of blogging moves swiftly and there is no time for deep consideration about reality TV.
Donald, and his daughter Ivanka Trump, discussed who they thought would be victorious in a season of grasping famewhores. “You never know how people are going to react when you put people together with one another. And this season I’d say it’s pretty explosive,” Ivanka admits.
While Donald won’t give any clues about who he expects to be the winner of season 14 he does hint that it ultimately comes down to a war of wits, which certain contestants just don’t always possess.
The cast of Vanderpump Rules managed to come together to celebrate Scheana Marie‘s bachelorette party in Miami. And so far, no one has died – yet!
Katie Maloney reveals that she was happy to be invited – even if it meant damaging her friendship to Stassi Schroeder. “I really wasn’t looking forward to a trip with both Jax and Kristen but I had come so far with my process of letting go and not letting petty grudges get the best of me,” Katie shares. “Besides there are plenty of people I love going on this trip. I’m not going to let two people ruin it.”
“Of course, I had some concerns and fears of the worst,” Katie admits. “There was still plenty of lingering drama between several people going, myself included. However, this trip was about Scheana and shay and celebrating them!”
NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore are the lucky ladies who both attended the Golden Globes last night, followed by real celeb-studded afterparties!
The warring Real Housewives Of Atlanta stars both glammed it up but kept it classy in gorgeous gowns. Hopefully they had no unfortunate red carpet shenanigans, either! Afterwards NeNe posed with stars at the NBC/Universal’s 72nd Annual Golden Globes After Party, while Kenya partied at the HBO post Golden Globes bash.
Kenya opted for a cleavage-barring red Pucci gown and classic Old Hollywood hair. NeNe did peek-a-boo cleavage with a keyhole neckline in a custom Michael Costello gown. I have to say, I think both ladies look fabulous and I love both of their looks. I’m most impressed with NeNe’s hair – which avoided looking like Ne-Man or uncooked Ramen, and was instead swept back into an elegant updo. Kenya’s hair, equally the subject of much gossip, looked gorgeous as well.
Below are photos from both ladies at the events – as well as a poll for you to vote on who wore it best!

The Real Housewives Of New York star shares that she is partnering with famed chef Pace Webb to participate in a lifestyle podcast aptly named Sonja in the City, where Sonja will chime in on Society & Culture. Why – do we need more delusional musings about the many moons ago when she was Lady Morgan, highfalutin manor hostess entertaining the likes of Lord Grantham and Lady Mary?
Sonja’s podcast will be available on Play. It, a new podcast network, which will also feature shows on a variety of lifestyle and entertainment topics from well-known hosts. Sonja promises her show will contain “laughs, a lot of tears…and a lot of fashion tips.”
Was anyone else totally confused by this episode of Real Housewives Of Atlanta? I don’t know what was more disturbing: the majorly disjointed story or Claudia Jordan‘s feet. I need some clarity on motives here – and also on shade, which I thought was genteel and left one guessing, not obviously wrong like a bunion crusted-foot.
The clips set-up this episode to be a big show-down in Puerto Rico between the establishment and the upstarts (not unlike an episode of Downton Abbey, although I dare say Lady Mary’s reads are far superior to anyone on RHOA). And yes, that did happen, but I felt like we’re missing some serious backstory. Was there a reason Phaedra Parks is suddenly gunning for Demetria McKinney like Evander Holyfield? Is Phaedra in love with Roger Bobb too? Speaking which, I beginning to believe Roger the Friendly Ghost comes from Claudia’s mysterious sugar daddy connect – or Kenya Moore‘s over-active iMANgination!
