As a huge fan of Big Brother – and avid follower of the uncensored live feeds – I'm sickened by the racism, misogyny, and homophobia coming from the Big Brother 15 cast this summer week. Oy. I have to repeatedly remind myself that it's only the first week.
Apparently, CBS/Big Brother has asked the houseguests to not make racial or derogatory remarks against others in the house, but that's the EXTENT of CBS/Big Brother's willingness to get involved.
Whether or not the racial slurs make it to the CBS broadcasts of Big Brother remains to be seen, but in my opinion, hiding it exacerbates the problem. My guess, CBS will pretend the racism, misogyny, and homophobia inside the Big Brother house does not exist, which is unfortunate.
Earlier this week, the former Teen Mom star announced that she was off to Florida for a 10-day kid free vacation stint in rehab for alcohol abuse. Now, Farrah has revealed a few details about the "alcohol free" restaurant she is planning to open in Texas. Perfectly timed details, of course.
"The main theme and purpose of why I'm making this restaurant is really the community involvement," saidFarrah the Humanitarian. "It's called DDs."
The Drink Hanky is ridiculously stupid. Amanda is delusional if she thinks the fabric drink pouch is going to make her a millionaire. (Get a job!) The actual product aside, this week's episode of Princesses: Long Island showed Amanda incorporating a FDNY memorial and 9/11 statue from the Jonathan Ielpi Memorial Park into her Drink Hanky photo shoot, offending many viewers.
The sister of Jonathan Ielpi, the fallen 9/11 firefighter depicted in the statue, is speaking out about Amanda's disrespectful shoot. Melissa Ielpi-Brengelshared, "It opens up the wounds, and it makes you just want to cry all over again."
Jenelle and Nathan supposedly bought a house in Myrtle Beach barely two weeks ago – so what happened? Jenelle tweeted, "Aren't allowed to film there so I had to get my money back," adding, "the HOA and the gated community that the house was in said no." HA. I can't imagine why.
This week, Amanda Bertoncini and Joey Lauren hawk their "ticket to easy street" inventions, the Drink Hanky and Kissamint, and Ashlee White thinks she's adorable when she drops $5300 of her daddy's money on high heels.
Jenelle was charged with simple assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a prescription painkiller, and possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell, and distribute, specifically, and she was scheduled to appear in court today to face the drug related charges.
Did you catch that? Jenelle WAS scheduled to appear today. WAS.
