Believe it or not, Teen Mom 2 won Wednesday night, with 1.553 million viewers. Also this week, 1.559 million watched the ALDC prepare for Nationals on Dance Moms and 1.018 million tolerated Josh Altman’s ego on Million Dollar Listing LA. In summary, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, and Teen Mom 2 ruled the cable ratings this week, and I don’t know whether to weep for our society or thank all of you for the job security.
Teen Mom 2 oompa loompa Leah Calvert is a mess. And I’m not talking about her hair and makeup this time. Financially… she’s a nightmare! And as we saw on Teen Mom 2 this week, Leah wants us to believe her money problems are Corey‘s fault. That didn’t go over well, so Leah took to Twitter to defend herself against the backlash from fans. It’s rich, err, no shade intended.
Perpetual victim Leah rewrites history like it’s her job, especially where Corey Simms is concerned, and I don’t trust a word that comes out of her mouth. Ever. If she had not wasted so much money on hair dye, a luxury washer and dryer, convenience foods, designer purses, and makeup, she’d have more money to go towards medical bills and household expenses.
Leah’slatest drama revolves around a new horse. Last year, Leah and Jeremy Calvert sold their home because it was not handicap accessible, which is understandable, and moved into an apartment until they found the perfect home. Leah set her sights on a ranch with horses for Ali‘s therapy – and I wouldn’t be shocked if she expects Corey‘s insurance to pay for it. #sarcasm
See a sneak peek of Shahs of Sunset season 4 below. I’d say hurry, but nothing’s changed. We see MJ crying, Asa silently judging, GG drinking, Reza pretending he’s Ghandi, and Mike blankly staring. I miss Lilly already.
Most of the rumors were true. Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson will dance. When asked how her family reacted to the news, Sadie said, “They thought it was hilarious. We don’t really have that much dancing experience in the family, but it’s going to be really funny to see them all at the show.”
But a few of the rumors missed the mark. Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman did not make the cut. I’m not sad about it. Oh, you know who else is missing? THE STARS. Seriously, if I have to Google more than half of the cast, they are not stars. <sigh> Check out the complete list below and let us know what you think.
You know, for being such an important guy who has so many important jobs, Jim Marchese sure has a lot of free time to gossip about Real Housewives of New Jersey. Do not even get me started on his Twitter activity. Oy. Most recently, Jim chatted with AfterBuzz TV about all the drama, his friendship with Bobby Ciasulli, the casting process, and more. And he did not hold back!
When asked if Real Housewives of New Jersey was the first reality TV experience for him and his wife, Amber Marchese, Jim said, “My first. Amber actually appeared on Restaurant Stakeout. But this is my first exposure to the wonderful world of reality TV.”
“Amber was contacted in February,” continued Jim. “They didn’t really tell us the name of the show at the time or any of the details. We ended up coming on board March/April of 2013. It was exciting for her and a real nice opportunity for me. My role was going to be very limited – just around my wife, around my children, and to help my friend at the time Bobby.”
What’s Maci Bookout doing? Your guess is as good as mine. I honestly don’t pay any attention to the spoiled party girl. I’m sure the IRS is, though, now that she’s got a big pay day coming.
Amber also has a new book, Never Too Late, to promote. In a recent interview, she talked about sharing her story, inviting cameras back into her life, opening her own rehab centers, reconnecting with Leah, and more.
