Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite snapshots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.
In reality TV viewing this week, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hillscontinued to decrease, not quite hitting a season low (1.35 million) but landing at only 1.6 million nonetheless. And several other shows also saw a slight drop, as well.
With 70% of the country buried in snow and in a deep freeze, you’d think that more people would be indoors by the fireplace binge watching trash TV!
Check out how your favorites fared this week! And tell us below why you think some aren’t gaining back audiences?
In today’s FML news, Kris Jenner has reportedly inked a $100 MILLION deal with E! to keep Keeping Up with the Kardashians on the network – as well as every time someone in the family “takes” a city against its will – for at least FOUR more years. I’m moving to Mars. Who’s with me?
According to Page Six, the record-breaking deal includes Kris, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie, and it goes well beyond the core show. Keeping Up With the Kardashians has spawned countless spinoffs, such as Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons, and we can now expect to see many more. As well as more digital projects like Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, television projects produced by Kim, more of Khloe covering the red carpet events, a Kardashian YouTube channel, and the list goes on and on. I feel faint.
About thescavenger hunt, Brandi gushed, “Not just any scavenger hunt, but a Beverly Hills scavenger hunt on Rodeo Drive. Well, hey, it’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, so why not? I personally thought it was a welcome change and a chance to have some fun and share it with the fans. Despite Yo’s health, she is a really positive, uplifting spirit, and I am thankful she brings fun to our group.” Ha. At least until someone orders a chocolate milkshake.
Zendaya quickly gained a ton of supporters, including Ava DuVernay, Solange Knowles, Viola Davis, Kerry Washington, and Khloe Kardashian, and Giuliana responded to the backlash with a formal apology on E! News. Zendaya put out another statement via Instagram in response to Giuliana’s apology.
“The Fantastic Race was fun. Sort of. The idea of a scavenger hunt with teams was great and intentions were in the right place, but you let some Housewives run loose on a hot day in the streets of Beverly Hills with specific rules to follow, and sh-t is bound to hit the fan,” Lisa said about Yolanda Foster‘s scavenger hunt. “Complaints ran amok, rules were broken, a lot of dairy was consumed, and tour buses were hijacked. But what can I say other than I was more than happy and willing to support Yolanda. Congratulations to Eileen Davidson for holding her team together and pulling off the win.” No. Easy. Feat. with Kim.
