Oh Bethenny Frankel, whatever are we going to do with you? After deciding Jason Hoppy wasn't the husband she wanted or needed, the former reality star turned talk show host says she's nowhere near ready to date again, although that conflicts with rumors that she's been seeing Warren Lichtenstein. I won't mention that just last month she let it slip that she's seeing someone. Oops! I guess I just did!
Bethenny admits that she has no desire to be part of a couple again. She blames her attitude towards a relationship on the fact that going through this divorce is much harder than she'd ever anticipated. She also manages to throw shade at her soon-to-be-ex-husband. It's like Groundhog's Day around here, isn't it?
It's time for Parenting 101 from Bethenny Frankel, y'all! You know you love it when she doles out advice. The reality star turned talk show host is sharing a very important parenting lesson that is near and dear to her heart, and she also revealing the one thing her daughter will never hear her say.
If you thought she was going to say that her daughter will never hear her talk trash about soon-to-be ex-husbandJason Hoppy(that's what I assumed!), think again. Bethenny, who admits to once being obsessed with dieting, reveals that she doesn't want three-year-old Bryn to grow up thinking that enjoying food is a bad thing. She makes she refrains from speaking negatively about weight and diets in front of her daughter. Actually, as much as I like to poke fun at Bethenny, she makes a good point (who knew?).
Well now the two former reality stars are not getting along! So sad. In response to Farrah's criticisms, Bethenny dismisses her as just needing attention. Takes one to know one!
"[I like to] have a conversation with someone that I think will show a different side [of them], and a different conversation, and reflect human behavior, but a lot of those people are controversial for a reason, and they like to be controversial," Bethennytold Wetpaint about her experiences dealing with Farrah.
Another day, another diss aimed at Bethenny Frankel's talk show. Maybe it's time for Reality Tea to create a new category just for bethenny bashing!
Bethenny's talk show debuted in September and has yet to find an audience. It's falling way behind competitors like Queen Latifah, Wendy Williams, and Steve Harvey. Color me not shocked! I don't watch any of their shows, but I have a hunch their guests are a lot more interesting and likable than the likes of Farrah Abraham and Kate Gosselin.
Today's diss suggested that audience members have been complaining aboutBethenny's standoffish personality. "She's cold and only walks in when she has to tape and walks out," claimed an inside source. "We're told some guests have even emailed complaints to the producers."
Bethenny Frankel is upping the ante as far as guests on her talk show goes. She's graduated from her recent parade of Bravolebrities to the one woman who we have to thank for putting her on the air–Ellen DeGeneres. "Thank" may not be the word you would use, but as far as I'm concerned, Ellen can do no wrong. And who knows, maybe this is just another lesson in random acts of kindness courtesy of Ellen.
When Ellen appeared via satellite (is that what they still call it?) on bethenny yesterday, Bethenny introduced her by saying, "I am so excited and honored to tell you who my first guest is today. It's a woman who I trust, who I admire, who I love, who I respect. She's the most talented women on the planet in my book and she's the reason that I have a show today. I am so grateful to her, for this opportunity. Please welcome my friend and mentor Ellen DeGeneres."
Well now Bethenny is suddenly dating someone. Isn't that convenient. She's trying a different angle on the 'I need attention' train, because at this point she needs to do anything to boost ratings for her lagging talk show! Yesterday Bethenny "accidentally" revealed on her show that yeah, she's kinda with someone again.
GG Gharachedaghi from Shahs of Sunset was the guest and they were doing a pre-taped segment. GG she was discussing her failed engagement when Bethenny slipped and spilled that she too has moved on following a traumatic breakup. Couldn't have been that traumatic as she recently revealed that she never loved Jason Hoppy all that much!
Bethenny believed the show would catapult her out of the reality television genre and give her the opportunity to connect one-on-one with her fans. Unfortunately "fans" aren't tuning in. And she's being slaughtered in the ratings by Queen Latifah, who surprisingly turned out to be her biggest talk show rival.
"Bethenny is livid about Queen Latifah beating her – she can't believe this is happening," a source told Star Magazine (print edition). Indeed Bethenny's ratings have been slipping. Bethenny's show is averaging a .9 Nielsen rating while Queen Latifah is nabbing a healthy 1.4.
Well now, this is just really depressing. Bethenny Frankel's new strategy of being an open book on her talk show (we need ratings, people!) is making me sad. Not just any kind of blue, but My Best Friend's Wedding type down.
On a recent episode of bethenny, the former reality star revealed what pretty much everyone who ever watched Bethenny Ever After already knew. Jason Hoppy wasn't the love of Bethenny's wife, and she knew that full well before walking down the aisle at their wedding.
