Heather Thomson & Aviva Drescher Talk BookGate

I really can't figure out what's going on with Real Housewives of New York anymore. I mean it's pretty much a bungled mess over there.

My personal opinion is that waiting too long (over a year) between seasons leaves viewers uninvested in storylines and confused. I mean we don't even remember why Aviva Drescher started hating Ramona Singer or when LuAnn de Lesseps became besties with Heather Thomson. Or when Sonja Morgan last wore underpants. It's just too frazzled. It's like trying to decipher the product names in an iKea catalog. While it's all kindsa topsy-turvy drama, it all revolves around Meviva – just the way she likes it!

Aviva is one of those women who is validated by attention – any attention – which is why she keeps confabulating drama that centers around sheer ridiculous-ness. She seemingly doesn't care how idiotic she looks so long as she's being focused upon and talked about. And God bless the crazy train of her thoughts because it's working!

OK! Magazine's

Despite personal problems Sonja Morgan just tries to have fun.

As Real Housewives of New York's resident peace-maker, Sonja prefers to focus on the positives of her co-stars rather than start drama. And she really doesn't have time between planning parties, wrangling interns, holding up the walls of her house with old Manolo Blahnik shoeboxes, stuffing Dubins in her toaster oven, and putting on caburlesque performances! Aaaahhh…the life of Sonja Tremont Morgan!

In a new interview with The Examiner, Sonja talks dealing with rude RHONY extra Amanda Sanders, the status of her toaster oven, and of course, her interns!

The reality TV viewer numbers are in – 2.4 million viewers watched the season two premiere of Married to Medicine on Sunday. This is the second largest audience ever for Married to Medicine – the most watched episode was Mariah and Toya's nasty fight of course. Season one premiered to 1.89 million. Also Real Housewives of Atlanta logged its lowest audience since mid-December with 3.66 million viewers watching Porsha flake out on Kandi.

On Monday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills secrets revealed special attracted 1.372 million fans, and 2.292 million watched Basketball Wives L.A. Meanwhile, T-Rav's dinner party on Southern Charm garnered 1.059 million viewers, which marks the first time Southern Charm passed one million viewers.

Teen Mom 2 ruled Tuesday night, as always, with 2.152 million viewers tuning in to see Nathan get arrested for DUI. An emotional episode of Dance Moms logged just 1.751 million, which is a season low and down nearly 670,000 since the season premiere in January. The mermaid parade on Real Housewives of New York attracted 1.204 million, and Bravo Ratings reported, "This is the lowest return since the third episode of their freshman season in 2008."

Sonja Morgan & Aviva Drescher RHONY S6 Premiere

Is Aviva Drescher pleading the insanity defense?

After a traumatic couple of episodes battling over bookgate on Real Housewives of New York - and whether or not Carole Radziwill is a fraud or a well-wisher – Sonja Morgan has decided to take up for poor Aviva. She is a victim of being "verbally raped", you know.

Interestingly Sonja defends Avicious MeViva on the case that she's clearly a crazy person of unsound mental standing and therefore we should all be more patient, nice, and sympathetic to her plight. Sonja – really? Try again. Although, yes, Aviva is crazy.

"Everyone really seems to have ganged up on Aviva who is, in my eyes, in a fragile mental and health state," Sonja writes in her Bravo blog.

The Real Housewives of New York City - Season 6

I'm not going to lie, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the previews for next week's Real Housewives of New York with Aviva Drescher telling Heather Thompson that she felt raped by the way Heather had treated her. To say I was appalled was an understatement. Imagine how horrified I was to watch Aviva on Tuesday's Watch What Happens Live, and, when questioned about her accusations by a caller, she said it was no bigger deal than to have people make fun of her prosthetic leg. Even Andy Cohen looked like he wanted to crawl in a hole! I'm going to go out on a "limb" here, but likening your hurt feelings to being raped is absolutely disgusting and is in no way comparable to someone making fun of a fake leg–and I wanted to tweet that to Aviva, but I was too much of a chicken. ;)

Anyway {steps off of soapbox}, I am happy to holla' with Heather as she schools the Vassar grad in all things Webster's in her Bravo blog. Heather also calls out RHONY's version of the Jersey Kims, beginning, "Bye Mindy. Or was it Amanda or maybe better Minion? I just don't understand why this woman has so many opinions about people she doesn't even know — but I wish she would stop sharing them because we just don't care. (She was so annoying that Jon actually thought she might push me too far and stepped in, just in case. But, she didn't. I kept my cool and I would never hit someone — especially a someone who can't even stand up straight.) Reid has her back, so maybe he can walk his dear friend to her car while his lovely wife Aviva threatens to 'Defame me.' Yep, next in line. I actually think the two of them plan this stuff."

DuJour Magazine And Fran Drescher

Ooooh goody – it seems slander works both ways on Real Housewives of New York. And if this accusation is true it seems we'll soon have another Housewife being investigated by the feds. Bravo sure leaves no stone unturned.

After Aviva Drescher has gone on national television to accuse Carole Radziwill of using a ghostwriter for her acclaimed and lyrical memoir What Remains, Carole is fighting back.

In her newest blog she reveals that Simon & Schuster, the publishing house that published Aviva's memoir, calls Aviva's allegations a "joke". But that's not all… Carole calls into question Reid Drescher's business practices.

rhony-recap-luann

Last night on Real Housewives of New York, BookGate got "street", and thankfully no one was injured. And some other stuff happened. Finally.

We pickup where things left off at LuAnn de Lessep's BBQ. This season class with the countess means taking a backseat to drama and serving dessert while massive fighting occurs. And hats off (or should I say heads – heads bearing wigs) to LuAnn because in the midst of the melee she let them eat cakes. Yes, ladies, please this fighting is so gauche – literally where Heather Thomson is concerned – let's enjoy a nice tart instead. I've long been a fan of the mighty ego of LuAnn and this season she has truly reached her stride, she's let go of some of the pretense and she's more relaxed.

bethenny frankel

Bethenny Frankel just keeps us guessing about her love life. After calling it quits with husband, Jason Hoppy, she was rumored to have a new man in her life in billionaire Warren Lichtenstein. She was seen vacationing with him in tropical locales and word on the street — I just wanted to talk like Aviva Drescher for a minute — was that she was even staying at his apartment.

The former Real Housewives of New York star denied that they were an item, and said they were just "good friends". Fast forward to New Year's Eve in Miami where Bethenny was seen canoodling and partying with muscle-bound Michael Cerussi III. Now a new lawsuit filed against Mr. Lichtenstein names Bethenny as his girlfriend. So what gives?
