On Monday, August 8, it’s time to hit the hot tubs! ABC is premiering the second season of the Bachelor Pad, a wonderful train wreck where the rejects (and one winner!) from seasons past move into a house together and compete with one another for a chance to win $250,000.
The opening episode apparently has so much drama and so little clothing, it needs three hours to do the show justice. Why, you may ask? Well, this time around former Bachelor, the creepy plastic Jake Pavelka (who LOVES a reality show), must face former fiance Vienna Girardi.
You may recall the couple’s break-up was less than amicable. Fear not though. Vienna has a new man, Kasey Kahl, who will surely guard and protect her heart. Holly Durst and break-dancing Michael Stagliano are also fresh from a broken engagement. Other memorable house mates include sh*t stirrer Michelle Money and Bachelor Pad alum Gia Allemand.

The last time the two were reunited, it was for a highly-charged no holds barred smackdown sitdown interview about their break-up. Those evil geniuses at ABC decided it would be best to add fuel to the fire by having the formerly engaged couple live in a house together while also competing for $250,000… alongside Vienna’s new boyfriend Kasey Kahl of course!
In the new promo below, which first aired during Monday night’s episode of The Bachelorette, we get a sneak peek into the drama on the show. “I hope she falls 3,000 feet to her death,” says Jake in a quote we can only hope was taken out of context. “She’s trying to hurt me so she can get the money,” adds Jake.
Vienna is a bit more emotional as she snipes, “I hate him!” The preview clip is below via UsWeekly.
Bachelor Pad season 2 premieres August 8 at 8/7c on ABC. That premiere date means Jake will be appearing on two reality shows concurrently as he is also starring on VH1’s new flop show Famous Food.
TELL US – THOUGHTS ON THE PREVIEW? WILL YOU BE TUNING IN? IS JAKE A FAMEWHORE?
While the world continues to wonder what happened to Jake Pavelka’s pilot license or that whole not being a famewhore thingy, he is set to star in yet another upcoming reality show!
The former Bachelor star, who just finished filming a reality show for VH1 titled ‘Famous Food,’ will appear on the upcoming season of ABC’s Bachelor spinoff the Bachelor Pad! But it gets even better as his ex-fiance, Vienna Girardi, will be joining him on the show.
While ABC has yet to officially announce the cast, RadarOnline broke the news this week. Jake and Vienna had a very nasty and public split last year in June during which Vienna sold her story to a tabloid, insinuating Jake might be gayrevealing she had been in a sexless and emotionally abusive relationship with Jake.
Other cast members include guys: Graham Bunn, Tanner Pope,Kirk DeWindt, Stu Lopoten and David Vargas. And girls: Erica Rose, Melissa Shrieber, Asheigh Hunt, Madison Garton, Michelle Money and Jackie Gordon.
The second season of ABC’s Bachelor Pad premieres on Monday, August 8.

Chris, who was the runner up on Ali Fedotowsky’s season of The Bachelorette, has found love off camera. In a new interview with UsWeekly, Chris finally admits he is indeed dating Bachelor Pad alum Peyton Wright. In fact, the two have been dating since last August.
“I love her and I’m so happy to be with her,” Chris, 33, told UsWeekly at a Bachelor reunion party in NYC Saturday. “And you know what, the one good thing that came from this show, well two good things– one, meeting Peyton and two, the strong friendships I made. I have no regrets about doing the show.”
Chris reveals he made things official with Peyton last fall. “I think I asked her to be my girlfriend October 3rd,” said Chris. “I made him!” chimed in Peyton. “I’m like, ‘Are we going to define this?’ And he said, ‘Peyton, will you be my girlfriend?'”
And when it comes to the current season of the Bachelor with Brad Womack, Peyton reveals her top choice for Brad. “I like Emily a lot — they definitely have a connection!” she said. As for Chris, he reveals he is “definitely not” watching this season of the show.
In an unexpected twist, the two were given the option to share the $250,000 prize with each other, or attempt to keep the money all to themselves. They both elected to split the prize money, giving viewers a happy ending to the show.
And when it comes to their romantic relationship, the two said they are trying to see where things will go, admitting their relationship was no where close to that of Tenley and Kyptin, who appear to be pretty serious.
RadarOnline is however reporting today that the two are not a couple. “Natalie really likes Dave but Dave just wants to play the field,” says a source “The girls are throwing themselves at him, and he is loving it.” The site also adds that the duo did not act like a couple at a recent afterparty for the show, and that Dave ended up leaving the party with Jessie Sulidas.
As for the other couples, Jesse Kovacsand crazy pants Elizabeth Kittare no longer together. According to PEOPLE, the pair gave things a try for a couple of days after filming ended for the show, but ultimately broke up because they wanted very different things.
Wes Hayden and Gia Allemand reunited on the reunion show, even sharing a kiss! The couple is going to give things a shot by dating long distance. “It’s going to be complicated,” Hayden says, “but maybe this was the way it was meant to play out all along. I waited and it paid off.”
Things seem to be going best for Kiptyn Locke and Tenley Molzahn. The two live close to one another in Southern California, and are looking forward to building on their relationship.“There’s so much more to get to know about one another,” says Tenley. “So we’re going to date for awhile. Exclusively.”
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE FINALE/REUNION? DO YOU THINK ANY OF THESE COUPLES WILL LAST?
Has the Bachelor Padcreated yet another real like couple? That answer is yes!
Following their on screen flirting, it seems Gia Allemandand ABC resident bad boy Wes Hayden are now officially a couple.
The duo, pictured above on Friday at Melanie Segal’s MTV VMA Retreat in Beverly Hills, California, expressed their fondness for one another on the show with Wes even proclaiming his love for Gia. However, things could not go any further as Gia had a boyfriend at the time.
The two then reunited during the Wednesday taping of the show’s finale and reunion. With Gia now being single, it seems they are giving things a go. According to RadarOnline, Gia and Wes “were acting like a couple,” Friday night at the Voyeur nightclub.
“They were whispering in each others ears and smiling a lot,” says a source. “At one point, Gia grabbed Wes’ arm and pulled him close for a kiss. They were holding hands for most of the night and disappeared together at about 1:30 am.”
The finale of the Bachelor Pad airs tonight, and host Chris Harrison tells Zap2it that fans will be in for a big surprise. Coming up in tonight’s finale, Dancing With The Stars pro dancer Edyta Sliwinska makes a cameo appearance when she teaches Jesse Kovacs how to dance, much to the dismay of Jesse’s crazy pants girlfriend Elizabeth Kitt. Jesse and Elizabeth are still dating by the way.
The final six includes Tenley & Kyptin, Natalie & Dave, and Elizabeth & Jesse. The finale episode airs tonight on ABC at 8/7c.
Krisily Kennedy, arguably the most outspoken person on the Bachelor Pad this season saw her chance at winning $250,000 fade away as she was voted out of the Bachelor Pad house on Monday.
Krisily didn’t take her elimination too well as she got angry and called out the couples, whom she believed would make the final four.
In a new interview with PEOPLE, the 30-year-old Bachelor alum speaks out on being betrayed by Dave, her thoughts on Natalie, and explains why she didn’t side with Wes. Excerpts are below -
One of the things that you said after you were eliminated was not to trust anybody. Who do you think it was that you trusted that you shouldn’t have?
In the end, I don’t think it would’ve made a difference at all. I did definitely have my faith in Dave Goode a little bit. [He] and I did have a bond where each week we would talk about who we were voting for. So, I really trusted him. I had been nervous at every single rose ceremony and that one I felt pretty safe in — and clearly I wasn’t.
Are you still interested in Dave after what happened last night?
No, no, no, no. Dave’s a great guy. I definitely lost interest in Dave after seeing the fantasy suite episode with Natalie, I will not lie. I am all set with sloppy seconds.
Do you think that relationship will last?
I don’t. I do like Natalie. She is a free spirit and she doesn’t really care what people think, which I think is great because I am like that myself. I just wouldn’t put myself in the situations that she does, so I don’t necessarily foresee that relationship being anything too longterm.
Do you regret not siding with Wes?
I had joined that group—the outsiders—and we fell apart and no one was sharp enough to actually follow through with what they said. My strategy was to figure out who the majority vote was and go with them and figure out how to save myself each week. Kiptyn, Kovacs and Dave were the majority vote that last rose ceremony, and unfortunately Kiptyn chose not to save me … so, unfortunately, going with the majority did not help me at all.
The duo, who have been shown expressing their feelings about each other on the Bachelor Pad, walked the red carpet together at an ET Emmy party this week.
“Tonight is our first night out as an actual couple,” Tenley told reporters. “We were friends first and always, always a crush. And he’s just one of the most genuine men I’ve ever met and he’s very, very consistent.”
A new episode of the Bachelor Pad airs tonight during which the 13 remaining contestants continue to vie for the $250,000 prize.
On the Bachelor Pad tonight, an emotionally-bruising competition will bring plenty of tears when the contestants have to answer some pretty controversial questions about their fellow contestants.
Questions on the survey will include “Who is the sexiest person?”, “Who is the most promiscuous?”, “Who is going to win?”, “Who is the craziest,” “Who is the smartest?”, “Who is the biggest liar?”, “Who is the most beautiful?” and “Who is the most disliked?” Another couple will be eliminated tonight.
Also airing tonight is the long awaited official announcement from ABC regarding the new cast of Dancing With The Stars.
Though we’re still hours away from the official unveiling of the cast, several media outlets have confirmed the following “stars” will be on the upcoming season – Bristol Palin, Michael Bolton, Rick Fox, Jennifer Grey, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Margaret Cho, David Hasselhoff, Audrina Patridge, Brandy, Florence Henderson, and Kurt Warner.
With the eleven names that have leaked out already, it seems we’re in for only one or two surprises tonight.
