Big Brother 16 is right around the corner. I, for one, am super excited. It can't be worse than BB15, right? Right?!? OMG I hope I'm RIGHT! So, we've already met the Big Brother 16 Houseguests, and now it is time to see the house they'll live in. The theme of the Big Brother 16 house is an urban tree house.
CBS: "This season, the Big Brother houseguests will live in a whimsical urban tree house-themed dwelling. The living room features a 20-foot-high wood tree sculpture and wood panels that give the illusion of peering out into the world from inside the tree. The theme continues with the dining room’s branch-bound chairs and the kitchen’s butcher block island made from slabs of eucalyptus trees. Nestled above the living room is a tree house where the houseguests can play chess. The Head of Household suite includes a giant bird’s nest for the bed and a wall lined with bird houses. The bedroom decor is based on the classical elements earth, wind, and fire with the bathroom’s theme being water."
The photos reveal a new and improved memory wall. "Because we're in HD, we were able to change up the technology," explainedCBS production designer Scott Storey. "We will be using them not only for the houseguests but we'll be putting in different games and moments from the show."
I know I'm not the only one who is counting down the days until Big Brother 16 begins. CBS has released the names, photos, and bios of the Big Brother 16 cast, adding, "Big Brother to debut its MOST TWISTED season ever!"
Twist Number One: Two houseguests will win Head of Household each week. Each HoH will nominate two houseguests for eviction every week. For the first time ever, winning HoH will not guarantee safety for the week.
Twist Number Two: A new interactive element to the game, Team America, will give fans power to influence the game. Twist Number Three: A new competition, Battle of the Block, will dramatically shift the power in the house each week.
“When the houseguests learn about the new twists, they will need to throw out any pre-existing strategy if they want to survive in the game,” promisedAllison Grodner. “The new Battle of the Block competition will shake up the power in the house like never before – a houseguest can go from zero to hero – or vice versa – every week!"
The former teen bride has separated from Doug Hutchison, moved out, and is now getting her own solo show to go with it! “She moved into the studio apartment next door to the house she and Doug rented together. But Doug still lives in the main house,” a source dished to Celebuzz. “They’re not divorced yet, so she’ll stay there until they figure out how they want to proceed with things.”
In the meantime, Courtney is busy revitalizing her "career" – and that includes more music! “She has a development deal with World of Wonder Productions,” says a source and is in the "beginning stages" of creating her own reality show. “Courtney’s working on multiple on-camera projects, one of which is her own show. And she’s being pitched to networks." WoW Productions is also behind Million Dollar Listing, Tori & Dean: Inn Love and RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Big Brother's Britney Haynes recently expressed frustration over inaccurate information on the internet about daughter Tilly's health. On December 12, co-star Shane Meanley tweeted, "Answered prayers for Britney and her family! Surgery wasn't required for Tilly and the doctors believe the cancer is all gone." Britney took to her personal blog last week to explain why she was upset (not with Shane) – and to give fans an official update on Tilly.
Britney confirmed her family checked into St. Jude's Hospital on December 9. "We had traveled to St. Jude’s for Tilly’s resection surgery," she added. "After completing further scans, they determined that the surgery was ultimately too risky for the potential benefits and decided not to operate. So rather than spending the next week in ICU, we were on our way home the next day! Ryan and I were absolutely thrilled with this news. It was really more than either of us could have asked, given that we were informed at the beginning of her protocol that additional surgery would be involved."
Just in time for new year's she has a new man – and he's age-appropriate. The 19-year-old reality starlet was spotted Christmas tree shopping with her new man Ray (or possibly Rich) and witnesses say he was young and hot. So why is he with Courtney? #Famewhoring
Big Brother's Britney Haynes recently shared the above picture of daughter Tilly, who is currently battling cancer, "Happy four month birthday to the sweetest, bravest, most amazing little girl in the world. You make my heart full!"
Tilly's cancer diagnosis leaked out before Britney was ready for the attention, sadly, but she ultimately decided to start the blog Together for Tilly for friends, family, and fans to stay up to date on Tilly's journey.
"My little girl was 7 weeks and 1 day old when we rushed her to the ER," shared Britney. "We had been making regular visits to the pediatrician for weeks trying to figure out why she seemed so unwell. I researched like a crazy person for answers, but everything that I found pointed to normal baby behavior and I was constantly reassured she would grow out of this fussy phase. I held onto those words while we waited for answers. We found out at 4 a.m. on Labor Day that she had cancer."
Courtney sat down with E! news' Melanie Bromley on Friday night to dish about their separation and to share what's to blame for no longer feeling that Doug is her soulmate.
Courtney starts off sharing that she's feeling good about the break up. "I'm feeling good. Obviously any break up is really stressful. We've gone through quite a bit as of late, but I'm feeling good."
On what went wrong: "My age, obviously." When Melanie asks if the split is for publicity, she says "It's not. I don't understand why we would do that right now. How many people were against us, saying that was a stunt".
